Hey guys soi I'm having issues whilst playing metro r2033 redux and mass effect 1 where the DP connection just drops and then reconnects. Wasnt always there. Dropped the refresh rate to 60hz and switched dp ports. I'm not sure if its this old EVGA 1060 3gb, the panel, or the way overpriced Equip DP cable Ii bought. Going to try hdmi next and see.

It became quite clear that people have different panels in the same casing. Based on the info provided.

But some people that, dont have the monitor, made absolute (cr@p) statements. Mabye they were having a cr@p day.

Or maybe their SO gave someone else @$$ that day instead of them.

And yet, you still have not been able to substantiate your 1440p claim by virtue of a pixel count, or explain the soft text for that matter --- In fact, you seem to be the only guy here still pushing the "1440p" narrative and claiming to have gotten a 1440p panel.

A word of advice to the uninitiated - if you want to argue facts, bring your A-game, and we can argue facts. Post better pictures, do a pixel count, and prove that it's 1440p at a hardware level, and I'll be the first to withdraw my criticisms and congratulate you on winning the silicon lottery.

Passive aggressively bitching about "people" being "toxic" and making "crappy statements" isn't going to cut it.

And frankly, low-key insulting my wife, speaks volumes about your character - or rather the lack thereof. Tread carefully.
