Stuck at home with covid and no internet

Hey guys,

My mom and brother have covid, a gardener cut their fibre by accident, pretty kak...

The cell reception where they live is terrible so they basically don't have internet.
They have phoned the ISP and they can't even give an ETA on the repair, is there anyone else that can come and fix/replace a fibre cable quickly?

I don't think there is really any option for this but I figured if anyone knows a way to help them it will be someone on Carb

Service just sucks these days.
One guy told me on the phone that Electricity is a privilege not a right !!

That sucks, Maybe ask the repair guys to reroute the new line so it's less likely to get damaged in the future. I hope they come soon.

If you see some contractors installing in any area, just ask them. They do it on the side.
Just asked installer I saw outside Spar to fix after dogs got hold of Frogfoot tubing/trunking.
He was there hour later, half the price & this time buried away from dogs.

Just don't forget to warn the contractor that there are Covid 19 positive people on the premises, so they can take some extra precautions...
