[Wanted] Strats and Teles / old/beat up electric guitars

Brands I am interested in are Squier, Vintage, tokai and SX (let me know what else you have)

Specifically looking for strats or teles with jumbo frets but will consider medium jumbo as they are more common on strats, and alnico pickups. If you dont know the specs of your guitar send me a msg with the brand and model.

Will also consider beat up guitars and non working guitars (no broken necks or snapped headstocks)

I have the Dimarzio humbuckers that split, with DPDT switches under the tone and volume, with push button. Pull the volume button on guitar and it swops the humbucker from serial to parallel config, after that i can press button which uncouples one of the coils and turns the humbucker into a single. I LOVE this setup...HHS turns into any variation up to SSS...just my 1 single by neck remains a single.

I have totally forgotten about that! I have two SD invaders, super high output, but they can be split, I will look into getting a push pull to split them, I dont use a tone so I might just replace the tone pot with a push pull to split the neck humbucker, I dont care for splitting the bridge but might to that one as well. now to find those pots :/

ooof ebay wil take looong to deliver! Ill chek with mantech, some local music stores also seem to have push pulls. Ill prob go for the serial parallel config

I am down to two guitars, I seem to buy strats just to sell em again later, still looking for the right one.

Ja nee... A few years ago I had a radial pedal (they were notorious for having their switches die). A local shop wanted to charge me R120 for a switch recovered from a blown pedal! I ordered two new ones from ebay for under fifty bucks for both together.

Dude, thanks for the offer and I would love to, but i have scaled down (no pun intended) and my wife would own me for buying more gear again. I have quite a few spares sitting in boxes in case of what i need.

That one is long gone XD had a great flamed maple neck but that was about it. thing could never stay in tune.
Ill ask one of my contacts who builds guitars if he can help with them pots! With the lockdown stuff if I order a pot off ebay I might never get again XD

It's not for buying and selling. There is chat about music (mostly guitar) related stuff and there is often a challenge or two thrown out and then we record stuff and peeps vote and give feedback on said stuff.
