Hi Mense

Has anyone registered for Spotify Premium account?

If so, I'm guessing you don't have to VPN-log into your account every 15 days to a month like you do with the free version?

Is there any hidden charges that i should be aware of?

Was using Spotify for a year or so, and then got irritated with logging play.Spotify.com every 15 days to access my music. I then started using Google Play and in my personal, its really crap and doesn't have some on the features I really like about Spotify.

Agree, but its irritating having to access Spotify through a VPN client.

Want to know if you a premium customer, do you still have to do that?

I had premium until 3 months back, if you are abroad you have to login every 14 days BUT I often had issues where I would receive the message even though I had logged in the day before via vpn to let "mother ship" know i might be back in USA.

Gave up and managed to score Apple Music Student deal R30p/m

Easy steps:

1. Open spotify with US VPN and register a US account
2. Turn off US VPN
3. Create a card on entropay.com
4. Attempt to pay for premium with your entropay card
5. Click "Okay" when you receive the message that your card is from Malta and the region will be changed.
6. Pay with entro pay card.
7. Never use a VPN again.
8. Keep enough money on the entropay card for your payments to go through
9. Profit.

Use Tunnelbear? i use it every 10 days on my work pc and phone. Have no issues with my spotify

Have an Entropay card if someone wants to use it. Think it has $15 on it which I wont use.

I use Spotify Free and TunnelBear.

I only use TunnelBear if I get an error message if I cannot log in. Enable TunnelBear, what for Spotify's interface to load and disable TunnelBear.

No problems at all and I love Spotify. Want to get it on my phone too.

Well I haven't bought Spotify Premium as of yet, just use the free version. Seems when an ad starts playing (they are only 30 seconds and sometimes 60 seconds (2 30 seconds)), I just exit Spotify and open it again and carry on playing music. Seems like a Pseudo skip ad function that works for me most of the time xD. (PC version)

Back in 2017 Spotify was not in SA yet so the only way to access it was via a vpn to a county that it was offered in. The location check from spotify was done every 15 days, which is why you needed to log back in via the VPN.
