Scammed by Smokey McPot

Description of Bad Deal: Paid for the Unifi AC Pro, he did not send it as he said he decided to give it to his brother after we agreed a deal and i made the transfer. I requested a refund and he agreed to do so. I have been very patient as I was informed that he was in hospital but he has since been released, however since then he has ghosted me and does not take my calls, pm, answer WhatsApp's etc, even though his accounts are still active and messages are being delivered.

Payment was made on 28 Feb 2021 and agreed to refund on 9 Mar 2021

If seller still did not refund, best will be to open a case against the seller at SAPS or small claims court, or try to reverse money from bank if it was a normal EFT payment.

Hi @DeviantCyber,

I have received a WhatsApp response from @Smokey McPot today again, he stated he is in the office today and completing the paperwork for his partner to sign of to do refund.

He also said he will be back in the office on Wednesday.

So if i have not received it by then I will follow up with him again then.
