Hi,

Every way I try to google this, it just vomits back results of how great Android 13 integrates Samsung's handwriting-to-text into Chrome on Android. And this does seem to be a Chrome/Firefox/Brave Browser issue (so far).

I have used the S6 Lite with S-Pen for at least two years now, and writing technical reports in the field using the s-pen and handwriting-to-text on this tablet has been fantastic. Ease of use, battery life, and it can actually read my handwriting... it's nuts!

I used to tap where I want to input whatever I want to write (ie. address bar in Chrome), then a blank Samsung's "Keyboard" would open at the bottom of the screen with ample of space to hand write half or more of a sentence at a time.

After the Android 13 update, Outlook and the rest of office still operate this way, but in browsers (so far) I now have to write in the input fields provided on the website directly... for example, ON the chrome address bar, or far far worse, ON a input name field or ON a chat input box... . No more on the blank "keyboard" at the bottom of the screen, I now have to write in a space of as little as 2cm... one word at a time, if it is a short word.

I really loved this tablet.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Please help!

On my s6 lite, if I tap with the pen, it makes me wrote directly on the page...if I tap with my finger, it opens the mini blank keyboard at the bottom.
Not sure how or why
