Puppy wanted!!!

Wow guys, real honest comments there!

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback, honestly!

This is obviously the first time my immediate family would be owning a pet, as a kid i owned 2 German shepherds and wow they where a breeze but when they died (poisoned) my dad decided to not go through the agony again.

Alot of points made in this post that i did not consider, we as kids where always lucky to not be bit by any dogs but i failed to realise how important it is for the dog/cat to also have freedom and their own space, knowing my kid, she will be all over the dog!

Again, thanks for this, i think i might have to reconsider the pet until the kiddos are older and can understand.

Cheers!
My boys grew up in a house with a rottweiler. They're not a breed I'd suggest for anyone but they're also one of the most loyal pets. The only other breed I've loved as much is the boerboel. My wife grew up with a rottweiler at the foot of her bed.

Big or small they all have their own characteristics and quirks. My eldest son is special needs so we've avoided another Dottie as he's gotten older but we're also looking at possible choices.

Must admit I'm drawn towards the Boston terrier.

Bringing a puppy in your life is like bringing in another baby essentially, their temperament is shaped the way you raise it and the environment you expose it to. So I'm glad you taking serious thought.

Do a bit research in the interim if you plan on getting a Dog ,like training, bathing routines, hygiene care and ect. they may seem a bit much at first, but once they are well incorporated at the start it will be a breeze.

But I'm not gonna lie during time I have my pup it was nothing but joy being in her presences, A dog can bring a lot of joy in a home if you love dogs.

It's been mentioned before but do research on the dog you plan to get , I got a toddler and been planing to get a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel they.
apparently they great with kids and people in general and have enough energy to not drive you insane like a jack Russell but not too little that they may aswell be a cat.

Hi Everyone

Looking for a puppy for my kids, my complex is pet friendly and allows dogs at full grown height to be around knee height so breeds I'm looking for would be

Jack Russel
Pekingese
Pomeranian
etc

I work from home so puppy will be well looked after!

Please let me know if anyone knows of or has any puppies for sale/for adoption.
I will have miniature pincher puppies available in 6 weeks time. It's a small, clean breed

I got a JRT and a JR, too much energy, jirre.

JRT is constantly licking the bed/couch (probably a mental issue or her tongue is itchy) and in the garden looking for crap to eat.
