Save yourself the 2h28 minutes - you'll thank me. I felt violated and angry when the credits started rolling. Actually contemplated creating an IMDB account to leave a rating. Seemed more effort than it's worth considering the scathing ratings on there already.

In fact reading some of the ratings was a million times more entertaining than the movie.

If this becomes a cult classic and my kid one day in the future wants me to sit down and watch it with him - I swear if given a choice I'd rather suck a hobo dick.

Zack Snyder - I expected something half decent - what can I say - I fell for that hype!
Besides - the trailer looked okay. In hindsight I can honestly say watching the trailer on loop for 2h28 minutes would have been an infinitely better experience.

I watched it. Found it mildly entertaining for what it is.

it's a zombie movie with Batista as the star. Batista is not a star, he's just a credit. Definitely a bummer given how good Zack's fix of JL was, but it isn't terrible. It's just mindless.

...So after you talked me into watching it, i gave it a shot last night.

The first 45mins of the movie are actually good. A Fresh take on the zombie genre , likable character tropes, very cool art style.

BUT once they inside Vegas it all falls to shit!

Movie could have been so much more!!

I quite liked the movie

Sure there were a few plot holes like @crackOlicious mentioned that made me wonder and ask questions at the end of the movie

As well as a few cheesy/cringy lines but all in all it was a good movie to me

His daughter was so annoying!
the CGI and combat stuff was not bad,
If the daughter was say looking for her boyfriend or someone actually important not some random named Geeta it might have been more believable.
The safe cracker was probably my fave character

I can't understand how every other character dies, but somehow at the end she makes it. She conveys this level of sarcasm and cares for no one. Her very presence in the group puts them in danger.

Then, like the cunt she is, runs off and goes looking for people she barely knows, rather than listening to her father. This is the reason Dave's character dies.

They did a Star Wars flip on this film.
Army of Thieves was released after Army of the Dead, but AOT is actually the "first film".
I prefer AOT though. Much better and fun movie.
