I often play against some of the top teams in the world on faceit, have had Faze, G2, NIP, Liquid and some other big teams in games with us many times and we do just fine. Yes sometimes you die when on your screen you were behind the tree or wall already and sometimes you lose a spray because not all your shots registered but the game is very playable at high levels.
 
I will unfortunately be stepping down from comp gaming for a little while. Schedule is just a bit too hectic and clashing a bit at the moment. Adulting priorities :)
 
What's the difference between playing pubg mobile on a pc with a android emulator Nd pubg pc version.
The reason I am asking is the mobile version is free and I want to know if it's worth buying.

We've just had a team, Vinco Gaming, qualify for PEL Contenders series which consists of teams "ranked" 17th-49th across EU, CIS & MEA regions. If they are able to place top 8 in their group they will be attending a lan finals to compete for a spot in pro league.

Still think 160 ping is the reason you're dying in pub games?

That's awesome news. Grats to the guys.

If only I had 160 ping.
Avg is usually 190 -220

Also as far as I'm aware they're the only SA team that's made it this far?

Pub matches on the normal servers are a mixed bag at best when it comes to latency.
Can't really compare that to hosted servers for comps and qualifiers (Even though they're EU based, it's a very different setup)
You also play very differently in the comp scene than you would in a normal pub match, unless you're specifically practicing in the pub match.
So yes, Ping is still a reason we're dying in pub games (And you know it lol).

Thanks for the shout out deity. Yeah we are pretty hyped. Going to be playing with the big boys now.

I feel the ping on sanhok the most. Only pub games I really play is solo squad on erangel to warm up and chill out.

Correct, these are only the 2nd qualifiers that have allowed us to compete in anything significant in EU, first being earlier this year. So it is still early days for other teams and I do believe we have the talent for more teams come close to a spot but I do feel they will be the only ones for quite some time. Still a major learning curve for other teams as very few local players have experience against this level of EU play. Vinco are no stranger to a lot of the teams they will be up against.

They definitely not the same, but still face many challenges.
Ping will always have us at a disadvantage, but not to the extent people seem to believe.

Always dude. Thirsha's boys, can't remember what they were called back then, just dominated their group with Avangar winning group A, it's going to be insanely tough but nothing you haven't seen before, those lan finals are a very realistic goal for your lineup.

I think it's a mixture of things to be honest.
I don't play nearly enough to have any real input anymore, but the last few games I played were on Sanhok and holy shit the servers were laggy.

Last game, I cleared up military by myself (You were still waiting to jam with me), walked out with 9 kills and then died because of latency (K98 vs K98), I fired first but still went down to his shot.
If you're firing at the same time or close to the same time, you'll always lose the fight because of that latency difference.


Eh I miss playing...

Edit: One of my biggest complaints (Not sure if this has been changed/fixed) is still the pixel peeking. Player model should always be visible when they're peeking.

I have been out of the game and loop for quite some time now. Should maybe hop on back a bit

This really gets me next level annoyed, been watching way to many death cams lately because of this
 
Yip, happened a good number of times sniping, seeing the blood splatter on the player and you end up dying. Death cam shows no damage done to the player though.

I'm a little surprised about the sniper buff to be honest.
I think they'll revert that or drop the buff from 150 to 130 before it goes to live servers.

Bolts needed the buff tbh. I love the fact that the awm is 1 shot to lvl2 vests, if anything just drop the ammo to 15.

I also love it. Dmr players can no longer just stand in the open and tank a k98 shot while mini spamming. Getting hit with a bolt feels like it hurts again. I also like the awm changes, maybe ammo reduction if it's too op but it feels fine on test.

Any people looking for a 4th player to join a team? I'm looking for 2-3 guys that I can play with on a regular basis. Maybe join some AimingAnonymous tourneys and stuff like that.....

Stoked to see more people getting involved, honestly wish everyone could experience competitive pubg even if it's at an entry level. You'll probably get more reaction if you post in discords/twitter. If you need help, shout!

AA does not exist anymore well in terms off tournaments. You will have to have a look at Mettlestate and I heard something about Glorious Gunpowder that will be hosting some PUBG tournaments (Custom games)

GG are the AA guys that just split ways with AA afaik. May be wrong, don't really keep up to speed with those communities
 
Anyone having issues with FPS lately?

Iv been playing happily at 130fps on my freesync screen with Gsync enabled for weeks and now all of a sudden Im locked to 60fps in lobby and in game.

Iv tried various methods online and nothing has helped. I managed to force it to 130fps for a game but then I just had a lot of ghosting and FPS blur for days. Couldn't move without blur.

Tried updating graphics drivers.
Disabled Geforce Experience Auto Optimisation.
Disabled GSYNC through geforce and disabled VSYNC through monitor settings.
Tried Full Screen, Borderless, Windowed.
Tried disconnecting my 2nd monitor which is at 60hz
Tired "Disable fullscreen optimisations" in properties TSLGame.exe
Checked my desktop resolution is set to 144hz

Havnt tried using a different DPORT port on my GPU 🤷‍♂️
Havnt tried verifying files through steam

The main AA team is now Ladon and no longer AA. So much drama!!!!
