Haha yea i saw it on the weekend, really bad.

I read the reddit post and it seems if you cap you fps to 140 instead of 144 it makes a massive difference

I really do hope they fix this. Makes no sense that FPS can influence how a gun actually performs in game.

Yea makes it rather random, if your fps changes even by a few points your spray is completely different.

Local servers will kill the scene; I've spoken to the relevant community managers and our numbers are just not there. You'll be in a 30man after a 20min wait of throwing apples around, waiting for someone to finish their braai. Local custom lobbies for planned events is a different story.

I don't know, it might not work like that. It might just create lobbies, and start filling it with people with the closest ping (us, at 15-80 ping), and then fill it with people from further away.

See, it has to kinda work like that, or we would never be put in lobbies with our 150 ping. And we have access to the whole of Southern Africa, and possibly Brazil to play with. I think it will be enough to fill lobbies with 100 players at a time.

In other words, it doesn't just fill with people with low ping, I think it starts with low ping, and then just fills. We might even get some overflow fill from interesting places with 150 ping to us.

Why would it match eu, sa or any other region to our servers if we had any?
They have more than enough people to fill all their lobbies up instantly.

We will sit with same issue as with the COD BO4. Waiting 30 mins+ for a blackout game then 50% of the time play with 30 people

Why would it place us with SA players when they have their own region and will connect to servers with lower ping? Even MEA will have better ping to EU than to a ZA server. As I said, local servers wont happen and its a good thing

Completely agree, here. I would rather play with 180 ping over waiting for games.

To be honest i dont mind playing at 180 ping, yea sometimes its irritating because you die when you made it behind something or lose a spray down because some of your bullets reg late but i still get wins everyday, we play a lot of faceit and we have had wins against some some of the top teams in the world. The game is very playable at 180 ping

That has more to do with input delay. Not about how much DPS you can do depending on the FPS your game is running.
All Raw imput does it ignores all other external factors that might influence the mouse from windows such as acceleration and so not. So not the same kind of thing at all.

And never too late to join in. it had a decline in players, but is picking up again lots. The local comp scene is also pumping

hmm what fps shuld i get on rx470 ?
mayb after pay day, becuase damm , i never knew it had first person mode.
the 3rd person mode put me off it :\

Game still has lots to do with regards to optimizing it.
Not sure about fps, as there are 10000001 other factors involved.

1st person has been out for very very long now already

Apparently it is related to UE4 & has been proven to do the same thing in Fortnite. I'd imagine it happens across all titles using UE4.

I'm excited for some of it, not for the stupid lotto crates...
They add the 1st Stat track weapon skin and then lock it behind a crate. Why not just sell the fucking thing outright.

Yea im not one for skins or keeping track of kills so it doesnt phase me all that much. I see there is also less that 1% chance of getting it from the crate as well which is a joke.

Im most excited for the canted site, most games i only play with an m416 and just swap between a red dot and my scope so this will be a big change for me.

I love the AK, probably my favorite AR in the game, followed closely by the G36C.
M4 is great but I sometimes feel like it's inconsistent. Spray control is great for 10 games in a row and then out of no where it's a complete dog.

I have noticed this with the M4 maybe it is the fps issue?

I was watching Choco playing sometime this week and he had the experience. Fully kitted M4 and then out of no where it's all over the place.
Like I said, it's random, it does happen though.

Haha i like the cave but they cant put loot drops in it or that place will have every person drop there at the start of the game
