haha the top 10 on the eu server was all the same dude on 10 dif accounts named qun with a bunch of dif numbers behind it all with 40 odd k/d

This is currently the situation in NA. And it seems the accounts are all relatively old, like they have been going for 2 weeks or more. How have they not banned these yet?

yea its not a great show by the devs, but it is still in pre release so technically you cant really complain about it until the game is in full release o hopefully they sort it out by then

Players,

We only have 11 weeks until the end of 2017 and we know you have many questions about our development roadmap. To make sure we deliver PC 1.0 version and Xbox Game Preview by the end of this year, our development team is hard at work day and night. Today, we would like to share our plans on how we are preparing for PC 1.0 and Xbox Game Preview launch.
Many of you already know the new content and features that will be available in PC 1.0 version from reading media interviews and articles. Currently we have been using an internal build to develop and test new content and features including vaulting & climbing, desert map, new vehicles and 3D replay. We have been constantly working on optimization and stabilization as well. We will be able to share more about the roadmap soon, once the development has progressed further.

Road to Launch
Our development team is heavily focusing on developing the builds for PC 1.0 and Xbox Game Preview. For PC, we will be only focusing on doing our best to stabilize the launch build and we don’t have any plans to deploy patches to live servers except for this week. However, there will be features like vaulting and climbing which will have a huge impact on the game and need to be tested for at least a month. We will be running test servers at least three times in preparation for that.
Through these test servers, we would like to conduct large scale tests for the content and features that are not in the live build and create a foundation for a very stable official launch.

Test Server Operation Plan
1st phase: Focus on testing vaulting & climbing
2nd phase: More testing of vaulting & climbing, test other new content and features
3rd phase: All new content and features including the desert map
The content and features that will be in test servers need to be tested for at least 2 to 4 weeks. It will be very difficult for us to provide a stable service if we rush updates to live servers after short bursts of testing. As we would like to go through rigorous testing to prepare for official launch, we will not be updating new content to live servers and run test servers for a longer period of time instead.
You will be able to try out vaulting & climbing first in late October or early November. We will give you an update on test schedules later.

Leaderboard Update & FPP Servers
We have been working on leaderboard optimization to ensure their stable operation. It took us longer than expected to work on updating leaderboard systems so we need to delay the start of the new season to October 20th. We apologize for this change in the starting date for the new season. We will make an announcement on when the new season will begin later this week.
We added KR/JP servers and all modes were added to the servers. In addition, we will be adding First-Person Squad modes to SA, SEA and OCE. FPP Squad mode was played the most everywhere so we decided to add Squad mode first. FPP Squad will be added later this week after we update our leaderboard systems. We will continue to monitor player numbers and provide updates when necessary.

Patch Notes for This Week
This week we will deploy a small patch to live servers which will be the last before rolling out the test servers to prepare for official launch later. Test server will be up today – October 16th, 3am PDT / 12pm CEST / 7pm KST. If everything is stable, we will deploy a patch to live servers later.

Gameplay
Decreased the Starting Island item spawn levels in order to adjust the item balance on the Northeast side of Erangel

Bug Fixes
Eliminated the fire animation and effect that occured in the Starting Airplane when a player was on fire from a molotov cocktail
Fixed a bug that enabled a character to hold a main weapon and frying pan simultaneously
Fixed a spectator mode bug of flickering weapon UI icons

Lastly, we would like to thank all our players for the support since our Early Access launch on March 23rd this year. We cannot wait to see everyone try out vaulting and climbing for the first time in a few weeks. We hope to get a lot of feedback from you on vaulting and climbing. Please stay tuned for our announcement on test schedules.

See you in-game,
The PUBG Development and Community Team

Was thinking about how to make the game work for competitive play. (Spectating and playing).

Only 50% of the map is open. (Randomly selected)
Only 50 players in a match.
Zones are slightly smaller, with shorter timers. (Keep match times around 20min max)
Players drop with a P92, 15 rounds of ammunition. The gun isn't loaded. Once a player lands he'll have to manually reload it and only then will he be able to fire.
5-7 random vehicle spawns
3 Care packages per game

Blue zone damage is slightly increased.
Blue zone throws your aim off. (Player shaking/blurry vision)

Still figuring out the scoring system.
If you guys have any thoughts/ideas drop them down below.

Don't be silly, PubG is e-sport ready as is!:distant:

They have had tournaments already.
It needs to be tweaked.
For example in the last tournament it is was better to find meds for the first half of the game and survive in the blue for as long as possible rather than fight because you got more point for the longer you where alive rather than the number of kills/damage you dealt.
Creating a tournament of campers rather than a game for fps. Not overly entertaining.

I think a straight up Team Death match type style for comp games would be best.
With the vaulting mechanics and such coming up, it will have great potential to have awesome close quarter battles within towns.

These tourneys were just for fun. Was a normal PUBG match. No real spectator value or anything. Just pure fun for the players playing for a prize. Game mode will definitely have to be created to make it comp ready

I was just doing some pancake flipping, the game is faaaaar from e-sport ready :)

The game is turning into a pile of trash.

Server hit reg is becoming worse.
Server downtime is now a daily occurrence (Multiple times a day).
Cheating is rife (6000-12000 players banned per day now)
The Chinese player base (More than 40% of total players...game wasn't even available in China until recently) is exploding while the NA player base has fallen off by more than 20%, the EU player base is also declining.
Chinese players flocking into EU and NA servers.
Battle Eye have confirmed that the majority of cheaters banned are Chinese players.
0 optimization in the last few months (Looking into Yasnaya still smashes fps for no apparent reason).
Laughable patches that haven't fixed any of the serious bugs and issues.

Did NA players go down as a total number, or was it that in the overall percentage of players, there are now more Chinese players than NA players?

Uninstalled the game last night. We basically had a 100% success rate of playing against hackers the last couple of days. Sick and tired of it. They need to fix their f*****g game... I must say it seems that they just don't care, it will cost them in the future.

Fok die game man...

Rage quit

Nah man, not rage quit. Have almost 400 hours on the game so far but these last few weeks was ridiculous... Basically our whole clan uninstalled the game last night lol...Will play again when they fix it...
One of you should Google Fortnite Battle Royale.

Which server is most stable atm? EU was better for a while but I am getting hitreg issues again today...

Cheating, thats why I'm not too fond of free games, its easier for you to get a new profile for a free game rather than one you have to purchase. Like FortNite, not judging the game, havent played it an not really interested, but wonder how much the price of a game influences the cheating.

PUBG is not cheap, yet it's swamped with cheaters.

The Chinese players apparently pay around $15 for the game.

Bluehole created the perfect game for cheaters.
Cheat to win = battlepoints = crates = steam credit = new key = higher sales figures.

Cheaters, what cheaters??

I always make it to 30 alive in squad or even occasionally to 15 alive and haven't experienced a cheater yet. *touchwood*

So what do cheaters do exactly?

At least they are actively banning cheaters unlike many other big titles.

Read somewhere today that Chinese players pay something like $2 per week for PUBG in café, extra with cheats. If account is banned, guaranteed new account immediately.

You Rent accounts to play on. Weird.

Also stumbled into a thread where people were talking about this.
They should region lock china and do hardware ID bans.
