Recently started playing the arcade mode after the recent patch with the new map...and its kinda getting addictive at the moment...had some very intense games..with the occasional massive ping spikes and then drops.

Change of pace against the bots..but fun nonetheless...

On Fibre from George I get on average 175-ish, although I do believe it could be slightly better because stuff ... even at that ping I find it completely playable though, blizzards net code for the game is crazy good aswell. Pro tip - get friends to play with

Agreed, most playable FPS close to or even over 200ms ping, lag compensation is on point.

Although if your internet isn't suited for gaming, goodluck xD tried my dads office internet one time, never again xD I would select a character and then it would loop back to selecting a character, did not want to put me in-game xD

I played on a 4mb line before moving to fibre aswell, ping was slightly higher (200-ish) but still fine, but it was only me using the line then, so just to be aware - I have 2 friends up in JHB that played on the same 4mb line before upgrading and if I recall they had some ping issues, I suspect it could've been caused by the low upload speed of a 4meg line but it could also have been their weird router settings... but lets not get into that... maybe someone else can chime in on 2 people using the same line if that is something you plan on doing.

4meg is perfectly ok, 2 of my mates and I used to jam on their 4meg, even 4 gents sometimes and we would get around 220ms ping but still didn't have any lag issues.

I am using a 2mb line and its fine for me, i get around 200 to 230 ping on that... so 4mb line should not be a problem at all.

Overwatch was been very optimised by Blizzard for both lines and PC's. Look at the specs for the lowest spec you can play it on and you'll be amazed. They wanted to game to be as accessible as possible.

Your line speed does not affect your ping if you're only using your internet for playing Overwatch at that time.

I have always had 2mb line when playing Overwatch and my ping is mostly on 170 - 190ms. The ping is dependent on your internet local exchange. How far you are located from it and if it's congested or not

Sorry about my terrible spelling lol. Keep an eye on it, I got mine for R300. Also check out G2A for any other specials. You wont regret it, it's a great game.
