Yes, a fully gold ring would be awesome but gold is a very soft metal which means the engraving would probably not last as long as in this case where the base metal is made from a harder metal to maintain the engraving. Also gold would cost a lot more money and would naturally mean the price would be three or four times more. The rings we currently sell are of very good quality and are sold at an affordable price. Thank you for sharing your idea with us though.

My wife bought this for me and its awesome.

At our wedding everyone loved it, I couldn't believe the quality. It was such an awesome gift to receive. I Took it on our honeymoon and swam with it etc. It still looks the same and has no scratches.
It can open bottle caps, I had to test it.

Suppliers have been really messing me around. I haven't been able to find a single wooden box that matches the set at an affordable price. With regards to the chains, I ordered several chains thinking they would be perfect for the set and I don't know whether my eyes deceived me or the supplier sent me the wrong chains but they were the complete opposite of what I expected. In the mean time the rings and the certificates are still available for sale but I will keep everyone updated if I do find the correct chains and boxes. (Its amazing, a year ago I saw these wooden boxes I wanted at every corner shop and now when you try and find them they have just all packed up and left the galaxy).

I usually do my shipping rounds on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you order before then you are sorted for the next day local door-to-door delivery. I think Cape Town will take a little more time, 2 days possibly (something about their drivers being to stoned to cover a 1000km overnight pfffft...peasants). Anyway, pm me with your order.

Received my ring today, the delivery guy told me he was being followed by some shadowy figure, or figures, he couldn't recall, and he refused to stick around any longer than required. Poor guy was frightened out of his mind as he handed the package over

Be careful using these rings on chains, they will rub against each other and cause the plating to come off quicker then usual, especially if you using stainless steel chain as apposed to silver chain.

You should be able to get these chains in silver no problem, but they’ll be more expensive

The One Ring has no size, it adapts to fit the bearer.
