Item: Nuc8i3beh
Age: I'm not sure, I bought it second hand from here. At most, it's 2 years old based on release date in the Intel link below
Price: R3500
Warranty: None
Packaging: Not original, but I'll put it in a box and wrap in bubble wrap for shipping
Condition: As new
Location: Kloof, Durban
Reason: I don't need it, thought I did, but it ended up being put in a box after a while.
Shipping: On you, via postnet
Collection: Sure
Link: Intel® NUC Kit NUC8i3BEH Product Specifications
The unit has 16GB of RAM (2 x 8GB), a 256GB OEM Samsung NVMe drive (This was from my laptop, I put it in the NUC as I got a bigger one for it), and a 500GB HDD. You can also install windows 10 pro on it, as it has a licence and will activate once you've installed.
The spinning drive is quite noisy, nothing wrong with it though - I think it's just bad acoustics. When the drive is off, the NUC is pretty much silent. The fan makes a low whooshing sound when it gets going.
I've used it for light gaming (mainly old games), unreal engine tutorials (ran fine for the most part, but I was doing real basic tutorials), working and studying (dev with visual studio), and general browsing, etc.
It is a very capable piece of hardware and I can't say I've had any complaints. That i3 is really quite a potent chip.
FYI
