No Response a few days after Paying.

Description of Bad Deal:
So last weekend I agreed to buy this arctis 7 headset from @Grimcleave (R1000 + R100 Shipping) however I made a mistake and did not do an instant transfer so the payment only cleared Tuesday, he said he would drop the pack off to be shipped through Postnet on that afternoon I messaged him yesterday to ask if there's any news on it (WhatsApp his blue tick is private) and it's now 29 hours after my message with no response, I can still see his Profile pic so I haven't been blocked yet and am not sure what to do. I tried to phone earlier but no one answered. I've only phoned and messaged him once since he said he would drop it off, I'm holding off on messaging him multiple times since I would probably go too far so I'm trying very hard to be lenient. I do have his full name and Facebook acc with pictures of him and what appears to be his work but I really hope it doesn't come to that.

If you have any ideas or advice please let me know.

So the reply was bs, Some background info, He was replying and messaging me non-stop multiple times before he got the money, and after it cleared, He has replied 2 times in the last week, 1 time was to notify me the cash had cleared in his account and the other was the excuse that he will drop the item at Postnet on Saturday.


Here you can see the messages after he received payment, and he has been online multiple times so there's no excuse a simple replay could've taken less than 15 seconds. I want a refund for the funds I paid R1100 I will give him till Friday before I got to the SAPS and open a case against him.

I Do not want the headset anymore after dealing with this and only want my money back, I'm done with excuses and will escalate this further if he does not comply.
Can I please get some help @ViVceptioN

Seller has sent proof of him sending it, I will close this thread and give feedback once the package arrives.
 
Yikes, I don't even know where to even start.

Problems
1. The state of the headset shown in the pics he listed and the state I received it in isn't the same, to say the least. The outside of the headset was covered in some kind of hard shit stuck to it (Pics below)
2. Inside of the ear cups covered in dead skin from his ears. (Pics below)
3. Charging cable damaged beyond repair, Doesn't work even a little, Falls out of the headset at a 90-degree angle (that's how loose it is), Not the original cable not sure why he bothered to even include this.
4. Chat volume wheel damaged, Works but pretty badly.
5. And the biggest problem of all, the headset is basically unusable for any music consumption due to the rattling of the speakers since they have been severely damaged, Like not a little rattle it's so painfully obvious it hurts (anything over 50% volume and you hear it badly)

About the Seller

This is actually the worst experience I've had with someone online, And I play a lot of cs and rust. He was all cool and nice sending me about 20 messages before I paid, And then once payment went through he basically ignored me and sent a total of 3 messages, 1 was him acknowledging payment, 2nd was an excuse as to why he hasn't sent it yet, 3rd was telling me not to threaten him after notifying him I have started a bad deals thread.
At the end of the day, While I would like some form of compensation since the headset is literally broken in a way, I'm not sure if that's gonna happen, any idea's as to what I should do? Should I try to get my money back? is there a chance going to the SAPS will even do anything? Not sure where to go with this further, especially since I spent money I didn't really have to buy this.

@7strider You might want to edit the first post and fix the Seller and Buyer names, I thought you were the bad seller
 
I'm sorry you had such a bad experience here. You should send them back and get a refund if you are able. It's not what was advertised.

It really kills me that people sell things without cleaning them first. I've received a few items in a filthy state from members here.
Please, clean your shit before you sell it on. It's really the least you could do.
 
@7strider I'm happy to see you got the item. Sad that it's in such a bad state. Please make sure that your rating reflects exactly how your experience was. While we can be sympathetic towards his loss and lack of communication therefore, the condition is horrendous and not excusable.
