The campaign was okish but way worse than MW1 and MW2, probably amplified by the fact that I completed MW1 and 2s campaigns in the 5 days preceding the MW3 Campaign Early Access because I was so hyped.

It definitely felt like low budget DLC.


The MP is decent. The first AR hits like a wet fish though, game starts improving when you unlock better guns.
I like the movement, the map voting, the maps are fun, but the armoury unlock BS can f*** right off.
As can nerfing 95% of the MW2 guns so badly that there was not much point bringing them over.


I like the new Warzone map that's in zombies right now, will be super fun when it launches.

Just need to level up my MTZ +MCW ARs + Striker SMG + Pulyemot LMG + BAS-B battle rifle as I think those are going to be decent for Warzone S01. The snipers are one shot for MP but don't think they will be easy in WZ.

Yes. Have to launch a game I don't own to play a game I do own.

But that's not the worst of it. If I am playing multiplayer in the game I do own and wish to change to Warzone which is a free game, I have to once again go back into the game I don't own to play the free game I do own. Then I end up in wrong party and have to go though some other witchcraft process to get into the right party by once again going back to a game I don't own.

This exactly. I'm actually pretty much ready to uninstall unfortunately. I only play shipment in mp and some resurgence when buddies are on line and most nights I start of on shipment before they come online so I know this process. It has become laborious.

Campaign was okay give it a 6.5
I hated the fact the save checkpoints was so far apart
The other thing was at the end of it i felt it was anticlimactic more context would have been nice
The mp is better thank god they fixed movement
The thing thats annoying is armoury unlocks ,i work a 9-5 I don't have time to grind for Armory unlocks.
Zombies is okay it's basically DMZ
Overall rate the game 7

Sidenote
Anyone on xbox series x did you notice the film grain is so noticable even when you switch off the setting to zero

If anyone has recommendations how to fix it please let me know

Busy times like weekends and Friday nights, fairly quick on your popular game modes like TDM, Domination, Hardpoint and Rust/Shipment.

Late 11pm onwards and earlier in the day, quite a bit slower and often switches to Bahrain servers and sometimes even EU servers.

Just tested it. On a 4090/4K DLSS Quality, it dropped from 138fps locked at 58% GPU usage, to 55fps with 100% usage. Just in the menu screen with a single character.

I guess you need to enable frame generation to make it 60+ but the added latency is dumb for a competitive FPS so it makes zero sense.

Haven't seen much talk about the new MW3 on Carb. So here it is, the official Modern Warfare 3 thread!!

Reviews on the Campaign have been terrible, but I do feel that you shouldn't be buying this game for the single player.

MP reviews have been mixed. Zombies mode seems to be popular and looks fun. Was watching my mates stream it last night on Discord.

As for me, can't afford the game right now so I have to wait for the free version coming early December. New Warzone map!!

So, who playing it and what are your thoughts?

Played it abit , was lost due to the new map. Managed to get into a few lobbies quick, the new movement is nice yes, i was even questioning some of my snipes. Played Plunder just to get used to it

Just me or are low latency games giving you guys like micro freezes. It's not like rubber banding but game will be running smooth but then al of a sudden game play will jerk just for a few split seconds.
