I watched it! enjoyed the match and yes the results were extremely surprising considering the rest of the UFC dudes that crossover to boxing got the shit smacked up

Had the same discussion with the misses on Sunday. Gate fees for the event was $7.9m (±R150m) with an attendance of 18559, that equates to an average ticket price of ±R8000. I highly doubt they will be able to make the same amount of money of a local UFC event, so I highly doubt it will happen. Just doesn't seem financially viable.

I honestly think if it wasn't for the cut on Strickland's left eye he would have won. It was there that things started turning around. Strickland started struggling and Dricus got some momentum. Also looked bad which is always good in terms of judges scoring, looks like massive damage was done even though it wasn't that bad really, but it was bleeding badly.

I hear even though Dricus is the Number 1 fighter in the world in his weight division, he is only 8th in Nigel, but if you include the women, he is 12th. As such, 11 people in Nigel could leave him more beaten up than Strickland left him.
