Best card ever ngl. Costa vs Rockhold 2 wasn't necessarily a good MMA fight, but it was probably the most entertaining fight I've ever watched. The main event was an amazing showing by Usman. He recouped from R1 incredibly well. I can't believe Edwards managed to set up that KO. I'm so glad I was still watching it with full attention when it happened.

Usman really is very well rounded (even if we ignore his BJJ, since he doesn't even need it mostly)

This, coupled with his loss, will make him even more of a problem in the future.

I am extremely happy for Edwards though, just so many years of insane bad luck and being looked down upon by his peers and competition. His mom who took him off the streets into a gym so he wouldn't die like his father did due to gangbanging - now to him finally helping out his family and showing kids it is legit possible to overcome difficulties. Being able to show his mom it wasn't for nothing. Like Kevin Durant/Charles Oliveira level satisfaction!

Epic story, I'm so happy for him!

He might win, but Till has been training in Sweden with Khamzat's crew to improve his grappling. In a pure fire fight I think Dricus is a lot bigger and hits a lot harder. Till is more technical though so there's always potential for a slow passive bout that ends in a UD, or someone like Dricus presses and gets punished. Dricus would've had the grappling edge but I'm not so sure now. I hope he wins though, I think Dricus vs potentially Paulo Costa would be insane. I think he could actually beat Costa.

How bad is it for Dricus, now that Middleweight has new and dangerous contenders like Bo Nickal and Joe Pyfer? “Bad” in terms of championship aspirations that is.

I'm really keen for when these buggers decide to come to South Africa. I'm an introvert and I don't even want to go out much but when they come here I am 100% gonna buy a ticket. Would be more excited for CPT cos then I have an excuse to go there - but chances are they'll keep it in JHB for the moola

Even if it's gonna be a lame main event but it'll probably be a Dricus vs whomever for co-main event
