Mecer S6 Help

Good evening. This week, one of my colleague gave me a TV Box named Mecer S6 because he bought a Google Chromecast. I tried to research about the product but there is literally nothing about the product, not even one YT video & their product page is absolutely garbage, there is nothing about what the product can do. If someone has knowledge regarding this device, can you please share your knowledge & how to work with a device if it doesn't have a remote because I can't interact with it since there is no remote.

Most wired mice/kb's will work You can try wireless ones aswell, just give it a bit of time to try install a compatible driver.

Thank you, for replying. So, I assume this is a computer if it requires a mice? I did boot it up, connected it to the TV at home & it had the YT app but it was the old version, you could tell by the logo. It had a grid icon to take you to the list of apps but since I can't interact with it, I will have to buy a mouse.

Yes its a computer, it just runs software that is a 'cousin' of the software on most non-Apple phones aka Android phones.

I will certainly try to get it up & running. I do wonder thought if it's safe to use, i get that it runs linux in the background & i found out somewhere on how you should update the firmware & how to install applications, not really intuitive at all.
