Been thinking quite a bit lately about 32 vs 27". Playing COD on my T260 (25'5) a 32" will just be way to big for me personally.

Was looking at this AOC CQ27G1 27" 144Hz Curved Gaming Monitor - Best Deal - South Africa

But after watching the review Linus gave Im not really sold on it

So Im back to the Mecer 27" Mecer M2A1R 27" QHD (2560x1440) 144Hz 4ms 16:9 TN Freesync Gaming Desktop Monitor - Wootware

I assume the Viotek GFT27DB is the exact same monitor just rebranded?
Hardware Unboxed gave a pretty great review on it

Anybody here happy with the 27"?
Seen a few on carb for about R4.5k

Actually your T260 is bigger than 27" monitors. This is thanks to the aspect ratio difference. A 32" would not be way too big.

Hey guys,

I picked up this monitor and I'm really enjoying it. Not that it's something I need to use often at all but I'm not getting any sound from the built-in speakers.

Does the monitor even have built-in audio? I see there are audio controls in the settings. Are they perhaps only for controlling the passthrough audio from HDMI to aux?

The Mecer K3G3R does not have a built in speaker. Only an aux port if i remember correct. (used to own one)
