Ok so
After tinkering a bit more with my GMMK pro, I discovered why even my Durock stabs felt like they were "sticking". I direct your attention to the picture below:

Now , you are probably wondering what you are looking at. For some reason, the material Glorious decided to use to silence the stabs has become sticky thanks to their lubricant, leading to the stabs sticking whenever I pressed one of the bigger mods.

My solution? I peeled the material off and replaced it with some insulation tape. The result? No more sticking.

Quite strange lol. If anyone else has this issue, let me know.

Yebo! Fairly common occurrence on this batch of GMMK Pro's. It was not in the original run, they added those pads after the fact for some reason. Many users are complaining that they are a sticky mess.

They should just ship the thing with no pads or lube on the stabs.

Everything is already shipped and in South Africa bud, we are all getting our stuff Monday. Said Panda from an alternate time line.

I'm sure there's still time. PM the big daddy on Discord.

Thanks for the info. I have this exact issue on my shift key. It sticks if I bottom out hard.

Good guy Glorious helping me to type better.

I think I have migrated over to preferring linear switches. The more premium stuff just hits different.

These aren't even lubed yet and I put/rate them above my meticulously lubed gat yellows. I can't wait to get my hands on some aqua kings.

I have lubed (Krytox 205g0) black inks in my GMMK pro. Trust me, they are even better lubed!

What is the best to lube switches with and what is the best for stabs?
I realise it's often person preference but seems Krytox 205g0 seems to be the most common for switches.

My preference is:
205g0 or very little 205g2 for the switches.
205g0/g2 for the stab housing and dielectric grease for the wires ( I'd prefer not to waste all my krytox on the wires lol).

Ok that is what I thought.
So I take it that krytox isnt available locally. So one would have to import.

Unless some kind and generous member here might be willing to sell me some.
Would really like to lube my Panda's.
Otherwise I'll just order some from amazon as I need some stuff from there as well.

Am aware of it and is on the list.
Who has used it, would just like a hands on review.

Unfortunately, I think you would have to really beg for someone to let their Krytox go locally.

Afaik, Keyn/Razia is in the process of importing trybosys. Not sure when this will be available though.

I've had success with Team Lucas hobby oils of varying viscosities. I would personally straight use the 80w 1000cst on tactile switches. Anything that you over lube will just push down over time. @Mike has a mixture he is super happy with as well. I'm sure if you PM he will be willing to share some thoughts.

edit: As per a note from Mike, you can also look at Molykote Dow 33 light. Mike: "NB on the light part".

My keycaps arrived today so I could finally finish my GMMK Pro.

Keycaps - GMK Laser Synthwave
Switches - Glorious Panda

Switches and Stabs lubed with @Keyboard Kulture

The GOAT stabs were way too overlubed and were sticking. I removed all the stock lube, did the holee mod and relubed.
Will still probably get some zeal stabs when I order Tealios in the future, but with the modding, the GOAT stabs are more than serviceable.

How the fuck did you get your hands on a GMK set? Very naas!!

Hope she serves you well.

I am tearing my GMMK down again tonight to holee mod the stabs. I cleaned and lubed them again, but I am still not satisfied with my spacebar.

Please also share a sound test if you are able to! I want to hear those stabs.
