I'm looking to get a project management degree to better equip myself to get into management positions.
Mancosa offers both a 1 year project management diploma and a 3 year degree. Both are sh#t expensive, is Mancosa worth it or another worthless paper institute like Damelin?
Advise and experience will be appreciated 👍

Nope. Many great short courses at proper Universities. For PM Stellies has a good one that can be done part time.

I'm based in Durban also, if that changes things. Is this course offered in distance learning?
Can you suggest a course at a well respected uni?

Mancosa is registered with the department of higher education, their qualifications are recognized by SAQA as well which mean they're recognized at a NQF level.....

I taught there briefly. I would not spend my money there at all, even UNISA with all it's issues is a better option

Do you have any experience in project management currently?

Did my Bcom with em and my employer who is very large recognised this next to any other degree, I think Mancosa holds enough value as an organisation by now and they’re accredited properly. Comes down to budget and preference, saying you went to wits has more oompf as it’s perceived better.
