Regarding the CPU: Previous owner did overclock it, but in the ~2 years of ownership I ran it at stock clocks. Still stretches it's legs to about 3.9GHz on multi threaded tasks and 4GHz on single threaded tasks on occasion. Still a beast and holds it's own among newer chips even at stock clocks.
Regarding the Heatsink & fans: As stated I don't have the AMD clips, only Intel ones. Previous owner did some wiring to let both fans run off one motherboard CPU fan header. Works really well, i7 never went above 50 degrees under heavy workloads even when the room temp was 40+.
