How does ordering from Rebeltech work?

How does ordering from Rebeltech work, they seem legit but I ordered some stuff from them last night, there was only an EFT option on checkout but they don't give any bank details after I'd placed the order.
Going by their operating hours I'm assuming they'll send me an invoice with the necessary bank details on Monday?
 
Normally, as with most places that accept EFT.
They wait for POP and/or the payment to clear.

You should have received the order confirmation, I'd say wait a day or two for them to process and get the payment then you should get an order update.

OP has not gotten the bank details in order to pay them.
 
I wish I could blame either. 😅


I saw "EFT" and instantly thought of those "instant eft" services. So thought it had already been paid.

Only other thing I can think of then is they have to confirm stock first to avoid having to refund.
I had to do this in the past because putting a giant red Bolded heading saying "Do not pay until we confirmed stock" apparently does not work.

That is what I expect is the case but it is a bit unusual in this day and age to work like that.
I notice the available 5 units of the item has also not changed after my order so they must still be working with a pen and paper stick system over at @RebelTech HQ.

Highly doubt that.
Some suppliers dont have (reliable) stock feeds, maybe they dont count the order as confirmed till they manually checked/approved it ?

They are one of the best in the country, dont throw punches so quickly, especially not when you ordered out of business hours.

Come monday, they should wow you with service like they do for everyone else.


If you want weekend support, give progenix a try.
He isn't officially open on weekends so its not a guaranteed, but he's a workaholic and/or addicted to the pain. I've received email answers within an hour on sundays before.

Well whatever, I just want to know whats the deal, like send me an email that the order is subject to confirmation on Monday/next business day. It's really weird to order something and then no further instructions.. when I all I want to do is to hand over my money

It’s 23:53 on Saturday. As it stands, the most recent order was placed just before 21:00. All up until and including have been processed, and I’ve done it this way since the start. In other words, I don’t have an answer to your question.
 
I ordered from Progenix at 11.50am on Saturday.
Got confirmation to pay today.
Great pricing & service on a weekend.

Rebeltech was the same a few weeks ago.
Ordered, waited for banking details paid.
Also great service.
 
I called rebeltech to order mounting brackets for my D15 on Friday. I asked them to send a proforma invoice because it wasn't listed on their website.

Received a proforma invoice, paid and collected the bracket 2 hours later.

I've also ordered via email from them the past few times, because I've asked them to source something for me that wasn't on their site or was out of stock (first time was a simple USB extender, second time they sourced a thing from Cape Town which was out of stock this side).

Something's funky with emails, as your order was processed yesterday afternoon (and the mail sent just before 16:00) and I just received your POP even though it cleared this morning xD

Been mailing back and forth with a few other people today, so /shrug

Ok cool so they will in due course send me bank details, I wonder why they don't mention that in the order confirmation email.

That makes sense but that wasn't in the email I got, all it had apart from the order details was this:

"Hi there *****,

Was just letting OP know to be patient...
 
Hi Guys!

Apologies, I took some time off for the last couple of days.

When an order is placed, the client gets a confirmation email that we have received it, we then process the order by checking stock levels, making sure the account details are correct for the invoice, etc.

After we process it, we then send you a mail with the banking details in order for you to make payment.

We don't operate on weekends so any order that gets placed over the weekend only gets processed on Monday.

We are also working on implementing different payment options to the website soon, we know EFT can be a hassle., just busy sorting out the business side of things to get it sorted.

If there is anything you guys might need from us, feel free to reach out and I'll be sure to look into it for you.
