I need assistance with Exchange Server 2013. I am unable to access the EAC/ECP - Internal Server Error 500.

Move to 365, local exchange is starting to become a headache.

Your exchange is up to date with service packs?

You tried with http/https also in internet explorer/ other browser?

Public sector; red tape. We are exploring a cloud solution, I'm just not sure when that will happen and I am not very good with cmdlets

The issue occurred after my colleague used what I now suspect to be a faulty backup after the server crashed. Service packs are up to date yes.

I have done all of the above you guy's suggested, I suspect the issue could be binary related

Check event logs

Exchange 2013 is pretty robust - likely something simple.

Have you checked the iis server.

Issue the cmd to reset from the cmd line. (you can do this remotely with out affecting the email server

Why did you have to use backups? Did something happen to the server and tried to to back to previous backups? Do you know how old they where and what type of backups(full server backups database backups) is your server a virtual or physical?

Be careful not too give too much information on the server configuration too

Honestly, the move to cloud has made things so much better.
