Groenewald brothers scams

Mmmm be on the lookout for [MENTION=29712]Toxxyc338[/MENTION], those "xx" & "33" in the user name....Lets just say my scam-sense is tingling;)

Haha the 338 was added only after my initial account (which was just Toxxyc) went horribly wonky and I was told by mods to create a new one... :p

Lies! BS sensors tingling and with [MENTION=622]Doom5003[/MENTION] scam sense, it must be correct... Lol = Lots of love ;)
 
Perhaps my searching sucks, but wasn't there a sticky with all the bank account numbers these scammers used?

[MENTION=3049]Pyro[/MENTION] I've filed charges last week but they didn't make the case. Arrrgh.
I'm going to file it through a colleagues' mom now - Ettienne Groenewald is the suspect this time.
He is behind 2x recent banned carb accounts HuntsmaNN & *UnknownSoldier* but he scammed me from OLX.
 
Hi everyone, I was contacted by the police about an hour ago because Ettienne Groenewald scammed me too back in December 2017 and then further used my identity to scam other people. Ettienne is due in court in 2 weeks time and the police is trying to get as much evidence against this guy. If you are also a victim, please get in touch so that I can get you in touch with the specific individuals at the police currently preparing the case. Regards, JK.

You'll need to make a case, the police is busy building a case against Ettienne and needs as many formal cases as possible. PM your contact details and I'll forward it on.
 
This c$%^ must be making a lekker bit of cash... Must've scammed over R100k from carb... THen there is GT, OLX etc etc...
 
@souljazk I'll be willing to bet he's gotten closer to R500k from Carb alone, easy. It's R2.5k from just 200 scams - and there's a lot more than that.
 
Hi everyone, just checking in again... The Groenewalds used my identity to scam other people too. Hopefully the guy in question reads this post. One of the people who got scammed by the Groenewalds contacted my sister a week or two ago (somehow got hold of her contact number but not mine) and then threw around allegations and threats. I'm honestly sorry that you also got scammed but I promise you, I'm also just a victim of these horrible people. I would really like to encourage you to contact me via PM and we can talk about the situation.
 
OK so looks like im the latest victim of these Groenewald scammers. Scammed me out of R2000. Im going to make a case on Saturday. Can anyone with evidence against them maybe just pm me.

How did they get your info? By info do you mean just your name or surname? Or do they have your ID and everything?
 
I got scammed last year (2017) around October/November. R2k :/

Anyway open a case against "the person" didn't know who he was. Just today I found out it was Etienne Groenewald.


Will update my case against him.
 
You guys can add me to the list. Got scammed in Feb this year for R1.6k. Still have the voice recordings, messages and case number. Spoke to @Japes1312 over the weekend, same guy. We have a bleddie whatsapp group of people involved over the years.
 
This is what concerns me.... Anyone have any form of contact with him just to check the status of affairs?

Hi guys. Damn, the time flies by so quick. Sorry for my long silences, but I have no good news for you. Groenewald is off the hook.


I respond to private messages in greater detail, but only if it is not a new account, of course... I invite people with a vested interest in this to PM me if you want to talk, as I'd rather not talk here
