Support Google authenticator code not working on phone

Changed phones and set up google authenticator correctly. Log in to carb app and when requested to use the code from authenticator it has "run into an error" popping up.
I did get in using a backup code but I want to know if something must be changed with authenticator when using a device? I need to log in with a new tablet as well

I cannot, unfortunately.

You connect via a 2FA provider (your app) to us. Essentially, we get 2 codes, one from you and one from your provider (if they provide one, they won't send something if there is something wrong with your setup or a bug on their end). We match the two and let you in or not.

99.9% of the time if a code is not working it's something wrong with the provider. Now if we had profile editing on you would be able to redo the 2FA setup/connection yourself if you had to use a backup code for instance, however, because of the hacks we need to manually reset it.

So the best I can offer you is to reset your 2FA (and password) and set it up again.

I'll try removing the 2FA and creating it again, maybe that will do something? If still stuck I'll contact you to reset everything

Ey bra life, got busy and haven't looked into this again. Its working for now but I'll test when I have time to mess around on the phone. If theres issues I'll spam your inbox
