Howdee folks, looking for some answers from the techies please!
We have a FTP server where we get files sent to us on a daily basis. Sometimes a day might be skipped, but the data will be included in the next days file.
We have just discovered that there was a gap of 7 days in the data and it was not included in the last file sent.
Essantially, my question is how would I know if a file was being attempted to be saved and did not come through?
I have always understood it as if it wasnt sent, it wont be there. If it was sent and there was a problem, I would have had a corrupted file on the FTP server or the notification would have been on their side that the file was not sent. (am I right in my thinking?)
