First gig :-)

So... I'm in an Afrikaans Rock band, based in the vaal.
We have our first gig next Thursday at the Barnyard in Three Rivers:

It went pretty cool on the night. Here are some clips:

Unfortunately the singer decided he no longer wanted to be part of the band with us and left the band. He was also the songwriter, so all the material went with him.
So the band "Errand is Blomme" is toast... We are thinking of trying something else with the remaining three members this year sometime.

Aww man, that sucks. Couldn't you ask him for the copyrights?

Maybe... but it's more than that. He wrote all the material... so if we get the rights to use we basically have to start over anyway because it will be "different".
And also, it was not a very amicable split, so we don't REALLY want to be reminded of our time under the previous name.
We are rather just going to "reform" with a new feel/vision/mission.
