My game studio wants to find a female singer that we can work with exclusively to provide vocals for tracks in our upcoming projects. Preferably someone in her early 20's as we are looking at maintaining a long-term contracting relationship.
As with a record label, music will be owned by the game studio. The vocalist will be remunerated per track and also credited as the vocalist. Instrumentals and lyrics will be furnished by the studio. This will be remote work so the vocalist will need recording equipment and software. The studio does not operate from an office.
PS: By exclusivity we do not mean that the vocalist may not work with others or produce her own music. We just want to work with one vocalist to perform the vocals to all of our tracks.
As an audition the vocalist will be given an instrumental track for Avril Lavigne's Nobody's Home and needs to perform the vocals for the song. This is exclusively for audition purposes and will not be shared with anyone outside the studio. We preferably want to find someone that with a similar vocal style and that can perform this song with the the same vocal and emotional range as many of our tracks will be like this.
PS: We the studio may also acquire licensing rights to perform covers of acknowledged artists for use in our projects in future for which vocals may need to be recorded.
