Facebook Account Recovery

Okay, so, my wife lost access to her Facebook account. I'll try explain briefly what's happening:

We have been attempting to recover it for like a week now (she is admin of an important page and needs access). When we try ANY recovery steps and get to the stage where Facebook says it will send a 6-digit recovery code, it doesn't matter what email address or what phone number we use, that code doesn't come through. I have tried every solution from the simplest (like checking spam folders), to more complex (going into the back end of mail accounts, checking message spam, attempting to contact Facebook (good luck with that).

Has anyone had similar issues and found a solution?

Wife is going through similar. We're now at the scanning ID document for FB phase and that got rejected (not clear enough) and have tried again now in hopes of a positive reply.

Repeated attempts made on her account started the issue exacerbated by her admittedly having left her email address as an old one. But with two factor you'd have thought a simple solution was available. Brother in law works for Facebook in Murica and it seems you're literally are at the mercy of the corporate beast, we're just hoping the second ID scan goes to a sensible human being [cue laughter].

Still have had no luck. It’s so crazy. The recovery emails never come through.

Had a similar thing, tried to make an account again after not having one for years, misspelled one letter in my name and it told me "I'm not the person I say I am". The only option was to send in an ID photo and well, I haven't got a response more than a year later.
We know they have no actual customer service and you basically wait on some bs automated system to verify your credentials. It's fucking horseshit.

Nope, we thought we were almost there which is why I answered earlier in this thread. Not even knowing people in Facebook helps.

My wife started a new account and FB appears to have deleted/disabled her old one along with all her pics etc which are now gone.
