Destiny 2 is the funnest and best game I've ever played

I took advantage of the giveaway and I am absolutely hooked. Started with the campaign and it just keeps getting better and better. This is seriously the best game I have ever played.

I love the combination of FPS and third person and the RPG elements. It's like all the things I love about my favourite games rolled into one. Winner winner, chicken dinner!

I'm not the biggest FPS fan but honestly, I am immersed. It's a great campaign story too. The graphics are rich and varied. Honestly, it's blowing my mind.

That "best game ever played" part is getting on my nerves. Ever played Witcher 3??? If you say yes, that means this thing must definitely blow my mind.

I must admit, never played the Witcher 3. Played Witcher 2 but the game engine made me naar.

I struggle with FPS and third person games cuz I get hectic motion sickness with most of them. Crysis 2 and 3 don't seem to affect me and thankfully neither does Destiny 2. Unreal games and Wolfenstein make me hurl. GTA V isn't bad but eventually I get motion sickness.

Give it a try though.

Agree, the Witcher 2 engine wasnt nice, but the story was amazing.
Motion sickness may have something to do with your monitor. I have some shitty ghosting/slow pixel response on my laptop, honestly I can't even play 2 minutes of CSGO without feeling dizzy. On my desktop I can go for hours though.

I've heard that but it happens on all systems I've played and even watched on. VR is puke central. My brain just doesn't dig it. But certain game engines don't affect me, it's weird.

I must qualify my statement as the "funnest game I've ever played" as my personal experience. I have limited time for gaming as I'm a dad and work consumes my life so I'm not as hardcore as some gamers. I spent years playing Diablo 3 RoS pretty much exclusively. Only in the last couple of years have I been branching out to other games and discovering my weakness for motion sickness. I've had it bad since I was a kid.

Agree with the relation to borderlands, I personally don't feel they are trying to be them but I do see you point. I quite enjoy the similarities and love the looting aspect. Story us really good too but I have only just made Nessus available. I have been stuck in Crucible too much xD

From what I have seen and watched becauseof D2 now I feel D1 is basically a must play, some aspects just seem a little more refined and I must admit I much prefer the options for customization in D1 trumps D2. WIll defo's have to play it sometime.

Best game? Not so sure about that.
Best shooter? Nah probably not.
But shooter I've had the most fun with? Almost, if you ignore Combat Evolved which made it to PC. (and given I never played yesteryear's favourites like Quake, Unreal Touranment and Half Life. And am not really into the horror scene which 95% of shooters go for).

Must agree the story was immensely good. The expansions were a bit of a let down as the story side of them were very short... too short in fact. PVP arenas are fun and everything else is just pretty much a grind fest which gets monotonous after a while.

Still hesitant on buying the forsaken expansion giving the track record of very short stories. Base game is definitely worth trying imho.

well i mean destiny 2 is free, its pretty clear the player base is gone, same as what happened with starcraft 2 going free.. The game was very fun up until the end game grind then it just bores a person to death. I mean i love the diablo grind for weeks on end, but destiny... eish... best game? na... fun game sure now that is free.

Actually it's just Activision. But since Activision totally has Blizzard as their bitch they've now started using Battle.net as their Anti-cheat and anti-piracy mechanism.
That's why you see Black Ops 4 appear on Battle.net as well.
Neither game belongs under the Blizzard umbrella, they still belong to Bungie and Treyarch, Blizzard is just being whored out by publisher Activision. I expect this trend to continue with any major titles published by Activision going forward.

Oh fair enough well it is still trying to gain player, i mean i own it and i dont play it my Fiance is trying it at the moment seeing that it is free "wow this game is awesome" 5 minutes later i see she has swopped back to Overwatch.. but i get how that works for her as a overwatch junky xD

I played quite a bit a while back and it wasn't too bad. Just got fed up listening to 12yo's in fire teams having tantrums because you missed a ledge by 0.01mm. Nobody got time for that.
