Ye I tried them they couldn’t help:(cablemod I emailed them aswell and they can’t help.

eish

why I hate all the 'proprietary' connectors

just everyone use the same damn standard ffs

hmmmm: Professional Tailor Made Super Flower Custom Sleeved Modular Cable Kit

Totally agree it’s stupid. I mean to ship those cables I’ll pay double because of customs,so it’s not worth it. Someone said to me that evga has the same connectors as the Superflower but not 100%.

I sent beyond customs an email last time they said they don’t do them because of the transparent connectors.

Like they around 55-100 for all the cables I need by the time I get them I’d probably pay 200 or so maybe more because of import and tax

Someone said to me that evga has the same connectors as the Superflower but not 100%.

doubt that, because if that was the case, then Beyond would definitely have been able to help as he does EVGA cables

eish, well GL in finding something

maybe look for "spare parts" Super Flower PSUs that you can salvage the cables from

I no sucks major I’ll have to make a plan lol tx though for the help much appreciate

just a little update to this.... actually just now watched a video where an EVGA is used and it has the same 9-pin connectors

never knew

Really where did you watch it?but the evga has the same connectors without a doubt. Do you know if there are any places in gauteng that do them?beyond customs have to have them preordered and will only get next February

it's their G2L series

unfortunately the only local place that does custom cables, is Beyond and at that price we saw for the connectors, I can't blame him for not wanting to do custom cables for those

Sorry for derailing

But reading this thread it sparked a age long question i had but never bothered to ask and sins the op is sitting in the same scenario i am afraid of sitting maybe someone could shed some light on the subject for me. Sorry OP its just your enquiry got all the rite people looking this way so i might as well just ask the question thats been scratching my butt for so long.

How does one know what custom cable kit works on which psu...i see cables kits branded as corsair kits..(bloody expensive i might add) but eg those bit fenix kits does not stipulate for which psu's they are made for....how can i know which psu will be able to get custom cables? I had a evga with these horrible flat cables...i sold it cause of its cables and didn't want to take the risk of buying a kit and it didn't work.

So could someone shed some light on the subject as to which psu brands actually have custom sleeve kits on the market.....

Looked at those rgb cables from lian li are they brand specific as well

Sorry again OP didn't mean to derail ur thread.

Most kits will tell you which PSUs they are made for

Corsair's newer PSUs all use the same Type of connector and layout and you should easily be able to switch between PSUs

Switching between brands though is another story

If the Bitfenix kit doesn't say for which PSU brand/model, are you sure they aren't extensions?

Those Lian-Li RGB cables are extensions as far as I know so they will work on any PSU

it seems like its easier to get for like the corsair and evga powersupplies like from cablemod or any international company,i mean if you go to there sites they at the top of the list when your looking for compatible cables,ye i know what you mean, thats the bad thing about superflower and custom kits they not wanted thats probably why it isnt kept,in a marketing point of view.

i think ill have to stay with extentions unless i get a new psu in the future.
