Corsair K100 Air sold anywhere in SA?

Hey all,

As asked in the title. Does anybody know if we will ever get stock on the K100 Air in SA? I've been looking everywhere and nothing.

Neither disti has confirmed anything at this stage, and the Corsair SA rep is unavailable for a week or two. I've already added it to the website (just hidden) so it's ready to go as soon as stock is confirmed to be coming to SA.

Just an opinion, I wouldn't hold my breath too hard. The K100 sales absolutely crashed late 2020 and ICASA approval isn't free, so I'm not sure it will come. Fingers crossed, though - if it does, you'll see it on our site before it's available

It is unlikely to enter ZA due to high cost of ICASA registration and overall price of the keyboard. Rough numbers (in my head) could result in the costs of the keyboard being over >R6500.

That is unfortunately the going rate for full size,rgb, mechanical wireless keyboards

Yea, ICASA is the extremely sore one. Still missing duties, vat, transport, margins, etc.

Query with them. Initially they had it listed without a price and they didn’t have stock then. So I assume now that they have a price they should be receiving them soon.

But R6k is pushing it for me. I want it really badly especially cos I switch my kb between work laptop and my pc but damn that’s a lot for a kb. Might chance it and get it from Amazon Italy or something.

The disti has stock right now. It's for select outlets only though, just like the HS80 was.
