I'm looking for some inspiration/ideas on an aircooled build, anyone care to share some pics of yours? Can include specs too.
Very nice setup!See my profile picture?
I realise you're likely looking for newer stuff but rather proud of my 3rd gen. She's still trooping on.
Specs fwiw:
Delidded 3570k
16GB Ram @1866
Maximus V gene board
Coolermaster hyper 612v2 with a MF120r-RGB
MSI Armor RX580 (not in the pic)
Meshify C white
Some LED strips
Ofcourse! Please show usWould AIO build count?
I did some unconventional things.
Will post some details tomorrow.Ofcourse! Please show us
Can you post some pics? I have seen quite a few youtube channels fawning over these cases, so a complete "real world" build would be nice to see.I realise you're likely looking for newer stuff
Sure, i can do a "photoshoot" of sorts when i get some time. Anything particular you'd like to see?Can you post some pics? I have seen quite a few youtube channels fawning over these cases, so a complete "real world" build would be nice to see.
Ofcourse! Please show us
Are those Phanteks neon led strips btw?Love my ITX NR200P. Next time I open to clean I'm taking out the Phanteks LED Strips. Really like the Stealthy look. Just need a large white mousepad and I'm good!
I love unconventional. Create a post, share some stuff please.Would AIO build count?
I did some unconventional things.
He did already @CharissaMain setup, BIG screen with centrally wall-mounted secondary (used to have 3, this saves LOTS of desk space). All wireless to keep it nice and clean.
Corsair 4000D Airflow
AOC AG493UCX
Dell 24" IPS
Corsair K63 wireless
Corsair DarkCore Wireless
Corsair HS70 Wireless
Radiator mounted inside the case with the fans between case on front panel (creates more GPU space).
All fans changed to Corsair ML Pro's (3x120 on radiator, 3x140 in case). ML120's managed by the Corsair 150i Pro based on CPU temp, ML140's managed by a Corsair Commander Pro based on GPU temp.
Internals specs:
Asus ROG Strix B550 E-Gaming
AMD 5950X (PBO + undervolt)
Palit RTX3070 Jetstream OC
Corsair H150i 360mm
Corsair 64GB Vengeance RGB Pro (3200C16) (4x16)
Corsair HX1000 Platinum
Corsair Premium Sleeved Cable set
Corsair Commander Pro
Corsair ML120 Pro (x3)
Corsair ML140 Pro (x3)
Samsung 256GB 960 EVO NVMe (OS drive)
Crucial 1TB CT1000P1 NVMe (scratch drive)
Seagate 2TB Ironwolf (backup drive)
Negatives:
Fan management was a bitch, can get loud when gaming
3070 suffers in older games (non-DLSS) at native resolution
The premuim sleeved cables are longer than what the case needs, so is quite cramped (I retained the HDD cage)
But where is the unconventional part you mentioned? Man wanted to see an air cooled pc and you come here and flex your whole setup*snip
The selection of components and no rainbows, 2nd tier GPU on a screen that it cannot run at full Hz/Res on raterisation performance. Store bought braided cables. But where is the unconventional part you mentioned? Man wanted to see an air cooled pc and you come here and flex your whole setup
Also front fan placement is literal out of the box problem solvingThe selection of components and no rainbows, 2nd tier GPU on a screen that it cannot run at full Hz/Res on raterisation performance. Store bought braided cables.
Had to be creative with the layout too, not like these NR200 chaps, but still not bad.
And yet it makes me happyAlso front fan placement is literal out of the box problem solving
Yes I was complimenting youAnd yet it makes me happy
I see your cardboard box PC and I raise you my TV-stand-cupboard PC, complete with glass side panel:Inspiration you say. I felt inspired once and came up with this.
