I'm looking for some inspiration/ideas on an aircooled build, anyone care to share some pics of yours? Can include specs too.

See my profile picture?

I realise you're likely looking for newer stuff but rather proud of my 3rd gen. She's still trooping on.

Specs fwiw:

Delidded 3570k
16GB Ram @1866
Maximus V gene board
Coolermaster hyper 612v2 with a MF120r-RGB
MSI Armor RX580 (not in the pic)
Meshify C white
Some LED strips

My current setup:

Intel Core i5 8400
ASUS ROG Maximus XI Extreme
ASUS ROG STRIX RTX2080 O8G
32GB DDR4 3200MHz
1TB nVME SSD
2TB HDD
1200W FSP Hydro
Corsair 4000D Airflow White
Be Quiet Pure Rock 2 CPU Fan

Ofcourse! Please show us
Will post some details tomorrow.

Put A LOT into a Corsair 4000D Airflow (like above), but with a few twists. It also shows a slight favouritism to Corsair parts.

Can you post some pics? I have seen quite a few youtube channels fawning over these cases, so a complete "real world" build would be nice to see.

Sure, i can do a "photoshoot" of sorts when i get some time. Anything particular you'd like to see?

Ps, fawning is with good reason. Love the case. As a mid tower, it's easy to build in, great airflow, ample space. What more could you ask for? (except maybe a usb c port in the front but meh)

Ofcourse! Please show us

Main setup, BIG screen with centrally wall-mounted secondary (used to have 3, this saves LOTS of desk space). All wireless to keep it nice and clean.
Corsair 4000D Airflow
AOC AG493UCX
Dell 24" IPS
Corsair K63 wireless
Corsair DarkCore Wireless
Corsair HS70 Wireless

Radiator mounted inside the case with the fans between case on front panel (creates more GPU space).

All fans changed to Corsair ML Pro's (3x120 on radiator, 3x140 in case). ML120's managed by the Corsair 150i Pro based on CPU temp, ML140's managed by a Corsair Commander Pro based on GPU temp.

Internals specs:
Asus ROG Strix B550 E-Gaming
AMD 5950X (PBO + undervolt)
Palit RTX3070 Jetstream OC
Corsair H150i 360mm
Corsair 64GB Vengeance RGB Pro (3200C16) (4x16)
Corsair HX1000 Platinum
Corsair Premium Sleeved Cable set
Corsair Commander Pro
Corsair ML120 Pro (x3)
Corsair ML140 Pro (x3)
Samsung 256GB 960 EVO NVMe (OS drive)
Crucial 1TB CT1000P1 NVMe (scratch drive)
Seagate 2TB Ironwolf (backup drive)

Negatives:
Fan management was a bitch, can get loud when gaming
3070 suffers in older games (non-DLSS) at native resolution
The premuim sleeved cables are longer than what the case needs, so is quite cramped (I retained the HDD cage)

Specs

Fractal Torrent Compact - I like that its airflow focused and supports full sized GPU's and ATX motherboards and power supplies while remaining small.
3 x Noctua PWM 120MM case fans (NF-S12A) in Chromax Black

Rest -
Ryzen 7-5800X3D
B550 Aorus Elite
32Gig Corsair Vengeance DDR4-3600
Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black
3060Ti Founders edition (Hoping one day someone will sell their 3080Fe)
1000W Platinum Superflower Power Supply
Evo 980 512 and le old Hard drive 3TB

Some nice looking air cooled builds here.
Haven't done a air cooled build for myself in years other than potato which I sold to my boet.
Sadly don't have any pics of that fridge sized pc though.

Specs:
Intel i7-4790K Delidded
MSI Z97 Gaming 5
MSI GTX 980 Ti Gaming 6GB
MSI Core Frozr L
Corsair Vengeance 2400MHz 8GB x2
Super Flower 650W 80+ Gold
Phanteks P350X
Phanteks Red/Black extension cables
Corsair SP140 Red LED x2
Corsair AF120 Red LED
Toshiba SSD370 120GB
Seagate Barracuda HDD 1TB

Notes:
- Pics are from when I just completed the build around mid-2018, have made a few changes since then i.e. sold GPU, upgraded speakers, monitor and desk fan 😜
- Sold GPU last year when prices were good, planning to get a new one when next-gen comes, but have realized that my 4th-gen i7 doesn't even compete with a 12th-gen i3 and will bottleneck most decent GPUs, wasn't keen on doing a full upgrade just yet, but might just have to retire the good old 4790K 😢

He did already @Charissa

But where is the unconventional part you mentioned? Man wanted to see an air cooled pc and you come here and flex your whole setup :p
The selection of components and no rainbows, 2nd tier GPU on a screen that it cannot run at full Hz/Res on raterisation performance. Store bought braided cables.

Had to be creative with the layout too, not like these NR200 chaps, but still not bad.

Also front fan placement is literal out of the box problem solving
