Completed air-cooled builds, you show me

What did you do with the AK620? The RGB RAM reflecting on the stepped heatsink is such a satisfying effect!

And why did you change? Did you run into the same issue as me with the GPU power cables when vertically mounting?
Tbh, it was mostly CUD. I try to fight the urge, but so far its CUD 143 - Ruan 0. One day when I'm lazy'nt I'll do the vertical thing with the GPU.
Current state of affairs

Good use of the Phanteks Neon strips, I highly approve 👍
Thanks man, they are soldered to Corsair dupont plugs on each which connects up to my Corsair commander and lighting hub, so they can also be controlled by Signal or iQue. The MSI motherboard does not do individual LEDs.

Thought I'd revive this thread with a little update of my own, I've recently went back to my Dell XPS 730 'Reditus' for a refresh.

Man I've missed this case.

Intel Core i5 8400 @ 4.0GHz
ASUS ROG Maximus XI Extreme
XFX RX6800 16GB
32GB (4x 8GB) DDR4 3200MHz Thermaltake Water Ram
FSP Hydro PTM 1200W PSU
Mushkin 1TB NVMe mounted on DIMM.2

I love the way the lighting highlights the strands in the forged carbon fibre :D

Way too many AIOs in this thread :p
Also, it's really difficult to take good pics of a PC!

I finally got around to doing an all white build. The only thing that's bugging me now is the PCIe power...

Torrent Compact
Strix X670E-A with a 7600X (thanks @EKD Online (Pty) Ltd !)
DeepCool AK620 cooler
Strix RTX3080

We were all thinking it, someone had to say it.

Take the glass off :) makes it easier. Although these pics are great.

Sick build. Definitely want an AK620 in my life too at some point. I want to try a build with a vertically-mounted GPU and a dual-tower air cooler (because apparently I love pain and hate having money).

Reviving this a bit - do you happen to have a guide or something that you followed, and maybe links to the plugs? I'm thinking of doing something similar. Thanks!

Late to the train. Here is my NR200P build. Everything runs cool and quiet and I have no issues thus far. The GPU is undervolted slightly and that helped bring the temps down and the power draw :)

Specs:

CPU: 5600X
GPU: 6900XT Referance
Mobo: Gigabyte Aorus X570I Pro Wifi
PSU: Corsair SF600 Platinum
Fans: 5 Arctic P12 fans
Cooler: ID-Cooling SE-207-XT Slim
Storage: Tempest 512GB m.2 SSD
