Carbie Car Guys!

Like 90% of Alfas lol, owned one before as well. No lies it spent more time in the Arnold Chats workshop that it did on the road before getting written off.
Just a bit of Black smoke... First issue in 150ks... If I didnt drive it into a truck it might have still been going right now

Is my baby. Currently not on the road. Will get there again

Needs turbo looked at and some cosmetic repairs

Nice GT, and in the right colour and wheels as well. Grew up with my dad owning various Alfa's including a GTV. Still a 159 3.2 V6 Q4 in the family, yet my heart wants a 69 1750 GTV, but the wife nor the wallet will allow. Suckers for punishment, but man they are awesome cars to drive. Same reason I put up with Subaru's, such great driving cars.

My V60 d5 runabout. She doesn't like potholes.

Just ordered this for my wife yesterday - it’s the facelift John Cooper Works which launches end of May so hopefully our specific spec will arrive first week of June according to Mini [emoji1695]

Here’s a photo of the current model in the same colour as I ordered but you can see there are a few cosmetic differences on the facelift above:

RunX RSI 1.8 VVT-Li

I while ago i said that when i'm a big boy i wana own the above mentioned car, but since then i have lost the need for speed, i still want a runx though, just doesn't have to be the RSI lol, and lets be honest, petrol prices bruh.....

Anyway i found an absolute gem, a stock standard Runx 1.4 RT, FSH, 260000KM (yeah i know it's high but i've seen worse), for a mere 40K.... I'm now proud to announce that i am officially a runx owner 😬

Let’s bring this back to life?

Got my Fiesta ST180 on the 13th of March and have since started working on it myself. I’ve managed to replace the windshield reservoir as it cracked, reinstalled the air intake, installed a boost gauge. Installed under lighting completely soldered and made by me. Installed under seat lighting. Installed custom bulbs all round. Installed big front lip. Installed side skirts, spat, diffuser, wing raiser, wing extension, internal wing diffuser and removed the lower front grill. Installed wheel spacers. Installed lock nuts. Installed wing side covers. Installed eyelids. Got straight pipe (I didn’t do that myself, but I helped) refitted and realigned my bumper. Pinstriped accents on the car. Installed stubby Ariel. Installed quick swap number plates and racing plates. Installed side canards. Side vents. Bonnet vents. Installed custom gel over lay set. Did a spray on big mouth grill.

I still have a lot planned for her and many parts to come and coming. Super stoked to be doing things myself and learning the ins and outs of my car.

edit: performance is where it starts to become expensive. Which is my next venture.

Seeing as how I have some time;

Random:
1. Why would you want a 5 point harness for the road?
2. Ah yes that'll add 5hp.
3. Can't wait for them to fall off when you're driving.
4. That's like 1hp per item, +13hp total now!
5. You'll need this for when you wreck.
6. Just slap on extra stickers when you wanna "dice brah" so you can add HP on-the-go!
7. Don't want those sick wheels getting stolen, but the centre caps are okay to be stolen it seems.
8. Wheel camber screws? What? If you want to stance-bro to ruin your tyres you're going to have to alter your control arms and/or get coil-overs.
9. Ah yes, need all that downforce for your cup holder. Don't want the McDonalds XL milkshake going everywhere when you're dicing at 300kmph.
10. Definitely required to let everyone know how serious your powerflow exhaust is!
11. Yeah who cares about cats or the environment, for that matter who cares about drone on the highway! A small I4 turbo drone sounds great! Highway drone is lovely.
12. Ah yes to channel all the air from your flat underfloor and splitter for the much needed downforce.
13. Definitely! That drag trade-off is worth it for how much downforce you need to get that thing to corner considering the speeds you're doing!
14. Another 5hp. We're at like +18hp already!
15. Damn, that's like 2.5hp per lettering - so 2 per tyre x4 = 20hp!! You're looking at serious gains for 38hp so far. Nice.
16. Good idea, so you can tell the people you dice with how silly they look while you're at 300kmph!
17. Nice, looks straight out of NFS Underground!
18. Even more NFS Underground like!
19. I think you mean centre-caps, I'm sorry your Ford doesn't include them from factory.
20. Stickers on the steering wheel that could cause you to lose grip and crash? Bah, the extra hp is worth it! Up to +43hp so far!
21. Need somewhere to put your foot because using the clutch is so 1995
22. Nice, somewhere to live.
23. I definitely believe you will be tracking this car and require extra oil cooling.
24. What?
25. Ah yes, high maintenance DOT5+ fluid. Who cares about moisture!
26. Definitely, definitely believe you're gonna be tracking this car.
27. I'm sorry your Ford didn't come with rear window washer fluid.
28. Oh you're going to remove it anyway because who cares about seeing behind you in the rain. That's for losers!
29. Hey, that's point 10!
30. Sick windscreen wiper mod bro.
31. Go blue limo tint or bust. Or what Taxi's have at the rear windows.
32. Glossy black piano plastic never looks bad.
33. Gotta plug those holes you made somehow!
34. Need to make sure you collect all those metal shavings you're gonna be creating now.
35. Actually not a bad idea, the stock shifter sucks.
36. Ah yes, gotta love dying from whiplash in the rear seats! Is that what the FIA/SNELL rollcage, helmet and harness is for? No?
37. Also not a bad idea.
38. Extra horsepower! Nice! +48hp now. Definitely won't look tacky.
39. Ah I do love making my exhaust crack from stress and then having to replace it.
40. Why not! More insulation!
41. Definitely going to tune injectors for the new spacing right? Right?
42. Gotta bring down those IATs.
43. Sick rally car bro!
44. Yeah, NFS Underground 3!

Sound:
1. Gotta drown out the sound of that drone somehow! Who cares about weight saving anyways, blasting rap is perfect.
2. Drown it out even harder!
3. Even harderer!

Lights:
1. Definitely makes it look better.
2. No really, it does - don't believe what others say!

Vinyl & Paint:
1. Gotta make sure people know it's a Ford for sure bud.
2. Black is the best heat dissipating colour for brakes! Nice choice.
3. Pinstripes definitely let others know that you are serious about dicing them!
4. Oh yeah, some more blue touches to make sure you remember you're driving a Ford after-all!
5. Definitely want others to see your number plate when you beat them so they are scared of you next time, nice idea making it stand out!
6. Yeah, they don't look great in white.
7. I'm not sure why your car has a mouth, you might want to get that looked at.

Body Parts:
1. Definitely gotta show as many ST logos as possible, you don't want people thinking it's just any old Ford.
2. Is this where the plugs come in? No?
3. Ah yes, definitely an Evo and designed in a wind tunnel. I'm sure that's going to perfectly clean up the air going into the rear spoiler.
4. Can't go wrong with fibreglass!

Performance:
1. Air ride? Isn't this the performance section?
2. Definitely cheap and easy to do with no maintenance or tuning required.
3. Gotta make sure everyone can hear your massive turbo!
4. For those track days hey?
5. Definitely going to be tracking it.
6. Yup, definitely gotta be careful of that shocking people when you track it. Or alternatively give it to your passenger so they can turn it off for fun!
7. Even more weight to the rear with the multiple subs!
8. Definitely want to make sure to not get debris cutting the brake lines when you track it.
9. Yup, get carbon ceramic brakes. They're not cheap or hard to use on the road at all.
10. Removing fake engine noise adds like 5hp, at 53hp gained so far!
11. Definitely adds HP too
12. And this one! You're looking at like +60hp gained so far, wow!

Also has FMIC, catless down pipe, a sub + amp, cob rear motor mount, 2x stabilizer bars and all poly mounts under the car have been done

I just had the greatest spell of laughs I’ve had in a long while. Thank you for this @Fluke

however this was the most hurtful thing:
6. Yeah, they don't look great in white
This hurt me lol, I like my rim how they are... don’t bully me!

On a serious note tho, appreciate the time taken out for this lmao, was amusing to say the least

Edit: I would like to take it to a track day tho...

Each to their own. It just boggles the mind as to why the laundry list of mods. Whats the endgame? Boggles my mind anyway, plus, it's just a teeny tiny Ford.
I guess at the end of the day if it fills a void and you have the money to burn its nobody else's business but yours.

You see, define having money to burn... if by that you mean saving every penny I get and dumping it all into my ride? Then yes 😂 before I got the car I used to spend it all on gaming and my PC, I’m older now so the toy has just become bigger is all... 100% won’t do 99% of the mods... but hey, I just read forums see what I like and add it to the list

Also... I’m 18 and it’s a new car to me and a new hobby, let me experiment and learn and do dumb shit. It makes me happy, anything I don’t like = I undo. Unless it’s accidentally cutting up my front grill... In that case I’m stuck with it

You need to find God or a decent financial/investment advisor. Actually, forget finding God...seek out the sage advice of an advisor :D

Just kidding (but also not really). If it makes you happy...then why not... I guess. We all do dumb shit at your age. I just wish I could go back and tell my 18 year old self to save more and show that guy the power of compound interest.

@BillNaaai Wow, that is impressive.

You know, people have been dogged by a bad thing in the last year. Don't let it get you down. For the others wondering what that was,

It was the FLU ,K !

Compound interest is for people with brittle bones. <- well they appreciate it at teh same time they discover compound fractures.

so you're saying 50k (lowball I'm guessing) on mods >>> investing 50k ?
