Carbie Car Guys!

Another S4!
Yeah, I just had to scroll back to look at yours. Very nice. See the exhaust is not standard. You done any other mods?

This is actually my 3rd time on this platform.
Had a 2010 6spd manual modded to around 315wkW/536Nm, which sadly got taken from me by a doos who decided to ignore a red light.
Then got myself an A5 with the same engine, just detuned, which was fun for a bit.
Had a few cars after that, and decided this is my happy space, so I'm back.

Yeah and I’m in 2 minds whether to sell or keep and mod it. 😀 the itch is there
& @viceroy ,

To dual pulley, or not to dual pulley? First do intake? Or first dual pulley?

Currently have a pick-n-pay stage 1 tune and exhaust done. Car pulls decent with 5.5s-6s 0-100 pulls on the draggy here in JHB. Want to do intake to have more of the supercharger noises in the cabin, at the moment it is just exhaust.

Also, my driver side door is super noisy at 50km/h and up. So need to replace that seal as well.

Other than that, still loving the car.

So dual-pulley (or better still just a 207mm crank pulley only -- easier to install than dual pulley, and no belt slipping with a smaller supercharger pulley) is the best bang for buck, but it's highly advisable to also upgrade the heat exchanger as it will heat soak in no time.

Single pulley (193mm crank pulley) is still pretty potent though and you can get away without upgrading the heat exchanger although it's still advised.

I just put a CTS intake on mine. Noise is lovely, and I swear throttle response it better too.
I'll do pulley and software when my crank pulley dies, because I'm actually quite happy power and torque wise...I do still miss it from my previous S4 (maxxed out single pulley setup), but stock is fine for now for me.

Hmmm.

Maybe I should consider and install as follows:

- CTS Intake (Will have to do a bit of shopping... Where did you get yours done?)
- Heat Exchanger (biggest of bois that will fit)
- 207mm crank pulley + softwares
- Gearbox sofwares

Anyone have a Corolla Cross? Opinion? Looking at trading wifes car in. Found a 2022 Model, 40k km's for 320K. Seems like a good deal

Did mine at Rogue Performance, Golf 7 GTI. Paid R6500.

I had a look around at everything available last night, and really like the fit people do inside the stock airbox on this platform.

Might have to look into doing the same, but I'm not too sure how keen I am destroying the stock airbox.

I've only heard great things about the Corolla Cross. Not a RAV 4, but sill a great car. 320k isn't bad either. If it looks and feels good, buy it!
