True. The ground Clearence will help a little but only so much.I don't think the t-cross will be much better than a polo in the bush. Both are not built for off-roading.
Pretty much true. Motor manufacturers are at the end of the day nothing more than a business. And every business wants to spend as little money as possible while making as much money as possible. And one of the best ways to do this is it to have common parts between vehicles. And most vehicles share a common platform. So for arguments sake the Opel Corsa, Opel Mokka, and Jeep Avenger all share the same platform even though they are all very different vehicles from one another. This is because these brands are owned by the same group. Polo and T-Cross are part of same group and share the same platform.Dont be fooled by vws marketing department, youll be buying essentially the same car that you have with some added tech goodies,
True. A more purpose built vehicle will be far more suitable. Something with a ladder frame chassis. Also if you must, buy a cheaper pre owned bush ready bakkie/SUV as a second vehicle. Daily the paid off polo.
I still want one myself! Arguably the best SUV ever built. Tougher than a hammer! Ask the guys at the Land Cruiser Club of SA or on the 4X4 Community of SA.Funny that, I am actually in the market for one (80 Series) but I can't find them anywhere...do you have any contacts?
No. Renault's depreciate faster than bitcoin. Not a bad vehicle though but they don't hold value. Rather look at something like a Suzuki Grand Vitara Subaru Outback etcGet a duster
True. Or the one that suits your budget.the best car is a paid off car
