Who's hosting the BF1 servers locally?

Have a strong feeling that the actual server supplier screwed things up and not EA, as I cannot see any complaints in any other region of servers crashing or just simply going offline. Probably mweb ne?

saw article saying it's Mweb... I'm just thinking they just doing the OPEN, OPEN BETA and was just testing before

but, speculation can only go so far... will see tonight and tomorrow

Would assume so... And its such a pity our region is just garbage, every other region has tons of servers that are performing well.. But hey what did we really expect.

Guys I got into a ZA server 40 ping like normal. Dam it felt good. What I did is you click on Multi-player and then on then go to server search and change region to Antarctica. Then go out of server search and click on the bottom right thing (Trending block )I think it's conquest or something. And it will find a game or connect to one. That is how I got in...

It's EA server matchmaking that is the problem. The matchmaking is not opening new servers and is incorrectly region placing the servers. They are trying to get it working before tomorrow. Will edit to clarify the steps.

The game actually is good... Really like the game

Only issue i find is jumping on to the server, it lags and jitters then goes to normal?

The servers are working well. There’s a bit of spiking now and then but otherwise good.

Anyone comment on how they like it? I was super hyped for the game but I’m finding it’s too “animated” I don’t know seems “bio shock” like. Maybe I need to spend more time playing.

Still need to check it out tonight. I have a 3rd gen i7 but an older card (970). Not sure what to expect. Apparently it is pretty hard on the CPU in the current build. I think it's destruction related as they keep upping the complexity with each game. I recall BF1 being noticeably harsher that BF4 was on CPU.

Just played a couple rounds on thr ZA servers and what a difference, I suppose that is what 177 times less latency gives you.

Well there's always the tick rate. With a 60 tick rate server you'll only get a packet from the server every 16.6ms.

Unsure if the client update rate is also 60 or less. So your 1 ping doesnt really give you an anvatage over someone with 15ms. Even at 30ms, doubt it will make a difference, but there is one

At first I wasn’t getting any locally servers at all.
Yesterday I had read the tips posted by some of the guys in this thread and nothing...

But now I have finally managed to get a local server. Pings around 25-30ms

Not having any issues, temporarily playing on a rx580 and no issues in HD.
Only 1 server though filled with randoms

Lol, I feel the medic gun (sten) has the least amount of recoil. The STG 44 however, has a bit of a kick to it.

I'm playing at 700dpi on my mouse. It's all about dragging that mouse down...

I have been playing for a while now and guys my 1 tip is upgrade your gun before anything else. I have the stg maxed out meaning no more upgrades and it shoots like a laser. Drops people like flies.

I have the Stem gun almost maxed and you can reduce the recoil more. It becomes a hip fire beast. For me it seems the upgrades to guns have no drawbacks so I don't understand its implementation, if the good guns become great just by 2 H of Gameplay.

Also if I could jump through the screen I would because medics will just run pass you as you bleading out 🤣🏃

I feel its just another battlefield game with a new skin. Same shit. Will pick it up in the bargain bin in 12 months time

Playing on a 1600 + 1080ti, 1440p + Ultra, DX 11, 85-120fps doesn't go below (Turned off film grain and the other option), everything else

I have to say, I'm actually enjoying it immensely. After not enjoying BF1 all that much, this feels like a breath of fresh air.
It's by no means perfect but I had a lot of fun playing with @GuardianTB
Playing on international servers...it felt awful...way worse than BF1 but playing on local servers was awesome.

Really liking the weapon upgrade paths, definitely something fresh and different in the BF franchise.

My one gripe is the ammo and healing system, I much prefer the old setup.
