Bad Deal with JimZA

Description of Bad Deal: Scammed out of 5k

1070 was posted on 12th November for 5000 , made contact with him and arrange that payment will be made the next day. Payment was made on the 13th November. Absa was having problems that weekend and 2 of my payments bounced back. I waited as he said it hasn't reflected yet so I gave it some time. Looking through my bank statements a week later it didn't bounce back and is definitely through on his side. He has now gone AWOL and doesn't answer any messages or calls. I'm guessing I got scammed as its 2 weeks later.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to deal with him.

Hold up - the payments didn't bounce but you though they did? What gave you an indication - the bank or the app?

2 payments I made that weekend bounced back into my account for some reason , but this payment I made to him didn't bounce back I have bank statements to proof it didn't bounce back and i'm sure by now 2 weeks later it can't bounce back as its already processed

Hi all, I have contacted Koosie directly on whatsapp and advise him of the circumstances of why we had a break in communication and we are busy going through everything together so we can solve this issue, I have also pulled a statement and sent him a photo of the entire period before and after his payment showing that I have received other payments yet not his so I will follow up with the thread as soon as possible to confirm that we have found a resolution, apologies to all
