Advice Needed

I need some advice on a proper Headset with Mic i have no idea what would be good and would like to hear from guys that actually use them

Logitech G35 fits in that budget and there are a few Steelseries headsets that might work as well.
You wanna buy new or second hand and do you want 7.1 surround or just something simple?

I play shooters so need to know where bullets are coming from so 7.1 or 5.1

Second hand is fine

Roccat Kaves are awesome, however they need a usb plug and 4 audio ports. I had them and they are amazing, but when you Lan or use the headphones on more than one pc its quite a misison.

I use the Logitech G35's becasue they are so easy to use and sound amazing. Very comfortable, slightly more than the roccat because of the way the headband goes.
