Yessir, it would!
It's actually preferred as it has it's own kinda backplate that you'd use

Just checked the clearance of my components and this card sits too close to my ram and vrm air coolers to be viable for me but the tests showing temp differences on youtube are super compelling with GPU temps OC'd looking around 15 to 20 degrees cooler in most scenarios

If it is too close to your components, rather not get it to be honest.
But I can say from my usage, they were really good, and pretty quiet.
