4k HDMI Audio Extractor - Optical out required

Good morning Carbies,

anyone had any experience with these devices? I need optical out from a 4k source to an old receiver.

The problem with those is that you need to break HDCP to get audio from sources with HDCP. With previous generations of HDMI, the keys were compromised so it was relatively easy. I do not know if the same still holds for 4k sources - so your mileage may vary. Luckily with takealot you have 30 days to figure it out...
