I bought the new 128GB 3rd Gen one, partly for the new remote, but mostly CUD/impulse purchase.
Nothing much that the new one brings to the party (except HDR10+ and being a bit faster) that my old one doesn't do, at least for what I use it for.
I have no real need for a second unit. I mostly use it for Disney+ in the bedroom. Although the Samsung TV there has the app, it's only stereo whereas the Apple TV supports DD 5.1/ATMOS with Disney+.
Mostly watch Netflix and DStv on the other TVs.
That said, if there isn't interest at the asking price, I'd rather just keep it and use it with one of the setups in Pretoria.
