Depending how handy you are and how much spare time you have over weekends, you can wire up an inverter yourself to a new panel designed by an electrician. The electrician will then need to sign the COC after they inspect your work, and you can rewire the house circuits into your new panel...
I'll be honest, I haven't read through the entire thread. Have you checked the crank position sensor? I know on my Alfa 156 petrol it would start playing up when it got hot, and wouldn't start until it cooled down again. Does it do it more at lower/higher RPM? edit: sorry, I see you said below...
On some machines it gets set to a version of "fast boot" where it skips giving you the option to go to UEFI setup. There should be a way from Windows 10: How to Boot into UEFI Directly from Windows 10 - Make Tech Easier
Otherwise you could try press F11 to go through the boot menu instead.
Also, be aware that A320 chipset doesn't seem to support 3rd gen Ryzen for later upgrades (but should support something like the 3400G or a 2600), but most B450s should do. Do your research.
Just wondering why you don't go with something like this and this, and then trading out your RAM for DDR4? AM4's a much newer platform, and you then have a nice upgrade path should you choose later.
I'm just asking because I've bought a few items (maybe only 2) from some threads here on Carbonite, and I still haven't got any feedback on my profile. I believe on both (semi-recent) times I was asked to give feedback to the seller, and did so, but they didn't give me any (I didn't ask for...
The only way to make money with a miner is to water cool it and dump the heat into a geyser pre-heat tank. That way you heat up the water that would've been heated up by the element in the geyser anyway, so you're not adding much more power into the system. Of course if you're going that far you...
PM sent. I have a question for the knowledgeable here: would the 2 x 8GB work in a mid 2012 MacBook Pro? I can't find any posts about that specific kit working, but a lot of other 8GB sticks do apparently work. Most are 1600MHz though.
Ah, I'm surprised. That kernel version should have had decent Mesa support for that generation of card, so I wouldn't know what else to try. Unfortunately I'm not in the market for a lower power card now and I'm in Durbs, so good luck with the sale.
AMD has great drivers on Linux these days. What doesn't it do that you need it to?
What distro are you using, and what version of kernel/Mesa? You may just need to update the kernel and Mesa to a later version and you'll be good on radeonsi. My R9 290 runs pretty good on even the older kernel in...
Those cheap ones are terrible.
I bought one like that one from titan-ice for my pc after I got my R9 290 and it was so blurry unless you turn the sharpness on the monitor right up. Got the first one from Matrix computers (about R150) , and took it back. It was so bad that their screens wouldn't...
