I had a look while the HDD is spinning to close all applications that I can find open. Including the iCue, Link, GPU tweak. yet it keeps running.

Well I have quite a few programs to control various components, I have the iCue to control the H150i, The HX1200i and my keyboard. Corsair Link is running as well. Asus GPU Tweak for the 1080Ti. Guess it could be the iCue like you mentioned, will monitor it thanks.

Bought myself the Phantek P400A case, I also got myself the Corsair H150i and the a 3 pack Coolermaster MF120R ARGB Fans Hopefully this will solve the issues. Thanks for all the advice and help guys.

I doubt its the paste, when at idle it drops to 33C and after the test with the side panel removed from the case it never goes above 63C. so the GPU temp have been sorted.
