Aweh
So If you want ultra tactile and I prefer them greatly for typing. Zelios V2.
Gaming, Telios V2 (or any light linear lubed) is like buying a light weight mouse, makes a huge difference.

I don't know all the keeby switches, only bought these two and love em.

The switches and caps matter more then the base imho. But everyone is different.

How did your K70 die? I get a kick out of fixing these things

Have you tried out durock T1s? I'm curious to see how someone who likes Zealios/Tealios would find them

Nah, too much work to lube new switches :p. One linear and one tac I've lubed enough for the rest of my life. :ROFLMAO:

Ok im new into looking into all this stuff and sort of wish I didnt start!! lol

So my gaming keyboard is a Corsair K95 Platinum with MX Speeds and I have never really used all the gamery crap on it and I want to ditch iCue from my pc completely tbh. At work I have a logitech keyboard with MX Browns and its allot nicer for me to type on.. Then i picked up a little Ducky One 2 Mini with MX browns for my sim rig and its a whole new league above..... so I wanna swap out the K95 to something else.

Ended up going too far as usual and think im gonna order the GMMK Pro with aura caps (really cant decide which colour.. thinking the white (silver) with black aura caps might look good. Im aware of the negatives on the GMMK Pro and assume i might have to change stabs etc. etc.

Now for the actual question... do I just get brown switches and my ignorance would probably still love them.. or do i get the lubed panda switches? Would I seriously notice a difference for the extra r1400?

Thought I would ask the pro's

A lot of people like to meme on browns, but they're actually pretty decent and if you already like them on another board, you might as well continue to use them. If you can get a smaller quantity of each, you can test them out before going all-in

Edit: If you happen to be close to Stellenbosch, I could maybe put together a little switch tester

Yea I think you're probably right, but I know ill always be curious. After reading up more im 100% gonna pull the trigger on the GMMK Pro - its now just the configuration. I flip flop between black and silver (pretty sure ill stick with the black aura caps at least for now so its either all black or the contrast with the silver).. and then the switches.

Gateron Browns and maybe change later as the browns are super cheap anyway.. or just punt for lubed pandas right now and be done with it. Can already see this is a rabbit hole up there with custom watercooling.

I bought a Redragon Kumara RGB and Redragon handrest which has excited my son to no end. I know it's a bottom-end mech but I've found it has two nice benefits over my Devastator keyboard:
1) I don't know better so am happy with the blue switches;
2) the switches are loud enough that we know when my son stops using the PC which means he's probably doing something he shouldn't.

I'd also suggest checking out the akko board on ctrlshiftesc, it's quite a nice layout

Watching video(s) and redyoutube is not something you should be concerned about :ROFLMAO:, cut your kid some slack.

On a more topical note, finally got a g915 tkl coming in so going to see how well that works out, otherwise keep an eye out for a near future sale thread.

It's burning a hole in my pocket wanting one as well.
Just need to hold out till end of the month.

I thought you did buy a GMMK Pro?

In other news, I decided to finally invest the time and lube up my Black Ink V2s. Excited to try them out.

Almost time for another board I rate. Any TKL/75% suggestions? MUST be hotswap.

Nope I didn't.
Was poor then and it's either a new KB or lots of fuel for the scoot.
Hard decision
