A friend of mine has the 2011 R1200R. Its an extremely fun bike to ride.

Easily one of the best parts is just sitting at a robot and giving it a slight rev.

The entire bike shakes to the side.
 
Received an awesome birthday present for me and could not be any happier!

2007 BMW G650X Challenge with a few upgrades: Acerbis Handguards, Shorty Levers and Upgraded Rear Shock. The seller also included a set of proper off-road tyres and a silencer. The bike has just under 11 000km on the clock and paid R30 000 for it.

So amped and the bike sounds amazing! What a machine. Looking forward to our 170km trip on Thursday.

Like a treat! She handled the open roads beautifully. The fuel tank is a bit smallish (9.5L) but luckily there is always a petrol station in the next 50km radius, so no biggy.

My untrained wrists were quite sore after the riding especially on the throttle side of things.

Where are the photos?
 
First bike: Not sure if it counts but the first 2 wheeler I learnt to ride on was a Sym Crox 125
Current bike: Honda XR 150 LEK
Bike if money were no object: Maybe a Honda CRF1100 Adventure Sports or a CBR 1000RR-R Fireblade

Gotten accustomed to the seating position on the XR for a few years now. Did ride an early 2000s Ninja 600 last year but it feels a little cramped for me (maybe just not used to it).
