Keyboard Nut Thread

I only have one, that I got from @Razia as a gift. He has the initial Feker run, where the housing still has 'INVYR' on them.

Comparing the knock off with the Glorious Panda, I don't think I will be able to tell you which is which in a blind test. (Without a board and caps) Would love to feel the fakes in a board though, I think it's great value and so damn near the real thing.
Yeah the value is incredible, I mean 70 Drop Pandas go for like R2250 from Amazon lol. So the Banggood route seems like the way to go since they'd probably be just short of R1k with shipping. Will pop in a young review if I do go that route :)

I don't think Glorious ships to SA though, you guys are gonna have to come up with some workarounds for that part.

I'm looking everywhere for a KBD67Lite. Pls let me know if u guys find one in-stock somewhere

Yeah I saw that, worst case scenario we can use AGS - But it is weird since DHL Express is amazing in South Africa...

Okay Ladies and Gentlemen, the time has finally come!!!
After a crap load of work and an ungodly amount of curve balls, Keyboard Kultures first products are now officially available.

First up, we have the ever elusive Keyboard Lubrication Kit

This kit includes everything you need to lubricate your keyboard switches and stabilizers, no matter if you remove your switches or not.
I will be uploading a video to YouTube on how to lube switches both removed from the board and still attached to the board. I will also show in the videos he exact difference between removed switch lubing sound and non removed switch lubing sound (SPOILER: It's almost nothing!!)
The kit includes the following (A few differences from the original announcement, but unfortunately if you want to try and be environmentally conscious in SA, it means ridiculous prices and unlimited lead times):

5g Specially formulated switch lube (Multiple months and Environmental testing, this was by far the best final formulation)
2g Di-Electric Grease for Stabilizer Lubing
2 x Paint Brushes (1 x Pre Cut for Switch Housing Channels and 1 Flat Brush for "Switch On" Lubrication
1 x Disposable Large Paper Towel for doing all your work on
3 x Wooden Grease applicators
3 x Wooden Stem Pushers (Designed to hold down Switch Stem while applying lube with flat brush in gap between stem and switch housing)
2 x Alcohol Swabs (General after lube clean up)
4 x Sharp Point and Flat Bottomed Buds (To clean in those hard to reach places and for lube overspill)
1 x Set Nitrile Gloves (Keep those delicate "Professional Gaming Fingers" clean
1 x Denture Cleaning Tablet (To soak those dirty little keycaps while lubing your switches)

All of these items are included, and are neatly packaged in a purpose sourced container to keep everything neat and safe!!!
The price on these kits are : R550.00 including door to door overnight shipping. There is enough lube to do multiple boards if used correctly.
In the next post on this thread, we will talk about the other new product, the Customized Wrist Rests
You can purchase these kits here:

And the next set of products to be launched by Keyboard Kulture are.................Custom Wrist Rests.
I'm going to start off this post with an immediate apology. These are pricey, and I cannot find a way to bring the pricing down purely due to the amount of hours put into these and the cost of the materials. I am going to try and release a more cost effective line further in the year, but these are the very pinnacle of Wrist Rests that I have ever seen, and I'm super proud to finally launch them.

They all have various prices that range from R600.00 - R1000.00 each, and the materials used determine the final price. They are all made by hand, from first cut to final polish. They each come serialized with a Certificate of Authenticity, and each one is truly a unique design.
They are all fitted with soft feet.

You can purchase these at this link on CARB:

I am going to insert thumbnails of each of them below, but in the sale thread I will include full pictures and individual prices.
Here is Batch Number 1:

You will receive the package like this:

Depending on age and condition, somewhere just over a grand.

Edit: I checked the conversion rate again. Probably around 1.5k my dude.

If you thinking of selling, may I get first dibs perhaps? @superrob

Looking for a new keyboard for my MacBook Air.

If there ever was an amazing way to conduct business, @ctrlshiftesc_za is the man! Genuinely awesome guy and amazing service always!!!

Agreed!

I placed an order a while back - there was an issue with the courier and the original shipment was sent back - they sent a second shipment out to me before even receiving the original shipment (the second one was delivered without issue).

Everything was of high quality, and ACTUALLY IN STOCK???

Morning all.

Just another thing to add to the list of things we do at Keyboard Kulture, we are also able to do a whole bunch of bespoke services, things like Custom Keyboard Builds and Sourcing, customization of anything Keyboard related (not Cables, there are better people out there that do this already) , texture coating of Keyboards, Full Custom Keyboard service like Foaming, Lubing, Dampening or coating. We even do custom Keycap Colors (I don't mean full keycap sets, but a few people have asked us to make custom coloured ESC, BACKSPACE and ENTER keycaps to add colour accents to their keyboard to match their case).

We are also looking into custom Artisan Keycaps, we are already going down that road, but still a way off. We want to do something different instead of the bog standard Resin Keycaps, and rather use real world materials and items to customize a keycap. we'll play with resin as well, but trying to do something a little different.

So don't be shy to contact us, if we can help we will.
We are easily reachable via PM on here, or you can shoot me a Whatsapp on 06 three 0592495. Whatsapp is always better than calling, as most of the time my hands are covered in paint or resin and it's really difficult to pick up :)
